Owlcall let out a delighted squeal, which he didn't do much nowadays. He touched his nose to Foxfang's, a purr rumbling in his chest. "You bet we did!" He declared, sniffing curiously at Wolfkit when Foxfang showed her to him. "She looks like a strong one." He purred. His smile fell when he heard about Ryemouse and Foxfang loosing a kit. "I'm so sorry." He mewed sadly to Foxfang, watching as his mate shot across the clearing to greet Ryemouse as she came out of the medicine cat den, two she-kits close behind her. He turned his attention back to Aquafeather, his eyes darkening slightly.

"Gingerpelt snuck away from the group to have her kits and died before we found her." Owlcall mewed, looking over his shoulder to where Tigerkit, Spiderkit and Sootkit were.

Owlcall broke away from the group when he saw Fallenstar standing outside of her den.

Ryemouse purred happily, pressing against Tawnyshadow's flank. "Tawnyshadow! I'm so glad you're home!" She mewed once she pulled away. "Oh, this is Minnowkit and Wolfkit." She mewed, nudging her two daughters in front of her. "We had a son, Brackenkit...." Ryemouse trailed off, unable to finish her sentence.

Stoatfur jumped up when he heard Aquafeather's shriek come from the medicine cat den. "The cure! Where is it?!" He yowled. A long-haired white she-cat hurried forward with what looked like a twoleg blanket. He snatched it from her and ran to the medicine cat den, feeling his chest tighten when he saw the blood that surrounded Sunsetkit's head.

He hurried over and set the twoleg blanket down, ripping it open to reveal the cure inside. He picked one of the small flowers up and padded over to Sunsetkit, gently pulling her jaws open with his paws. "You're going to have to eat this." He mewed to her before placing the small flower in her mouth, closing her jaw for her. "Chew it, hurry Sunsetkit."

Briar started to bristle slightly when she noticed one of the clan cats was coming towards her. When she saw him duck his head in embarrassment, she purred slightly, her whiskers twitching in amusement. "I'm Briar, that's my sister, Sheep." She mewed to the Bengal tom.

[center]Sheep slipped away from Briar's side after she started talking to the clan tom, and hurried over to Cherryflame, looking around nervously. "Do you always live here?" She asked after setting the cure down.

Aquafeather stepped back to let Stoatfur work. Her heart pounded hard in her chest with fear for her kit, her worried filled eyes nearly staring. The silver queen sat down and watched to see what will happen.

Sunsetkit whimpered as Stoatfur parted her jaws before closing them again once after the flower was placed. Her tiny ears pricked to the sound of his voice. Chew and swallowing was one of the least thing she wanted to do, but nevertheless, she very slowly started to eating the flower. She didn't care about the taste of it, but it was interesting. It wasn't too long till Sunsetkit chewed enough and forced herself to swallow it, whining softly a bit.

He let out a small laugh, turning back to Owlcall. "I bet she'll be strong too..." Foxfang wrapped his tail around Wolfkit and suddenly had a pained expression. "Yeah... He was our little Brackenkit... a small fluffy ginger Tom..." The warrior turned his head away for a moment before looking back at Owlcall and Cometpaw. "But you can't change the past, oh Wolfkit don't do that!" He exclaimed, as the small she-kit began climbing up Cometpaw's leg.

She took a step towards Owlcall, her yellow eyes still wide. "Owlcall..." Fallenstar breathed. "What happened?... Do you have the Cure? Where's Gingerpelt? Who are the two she-cats and kits?" As questions swarmed her head, she forced herself to close her mouth and nudge him. "Come... we must talk in my den..." Fallenstar stood up and turned around, limping back towards her den as her tail swayed behind her.

Tawnyshadow smiled down at Minnowkit. "Hi there!" She purred, lowering h dwelt so she was at the kits height. "I'm Tawnyshadow, a great friend of your Mothers!" She then stood up and looked over towards Foxfang, smiling when she notice Wolfkit over with him. "They're both beautiful kits." The warrior said softly, smiling before hearing about Brackenkit. "Oh... I see..." Tawnyshadow says after a moment, bowing her head. "I'm so sorry for your loss..."

"I'll fill you in on everything else later, Foxfang." Owlcall mewed to his friend before following Fallenstar into her den. He waited until Fallenstar had settled down before he did as well. "We have the cure, I saw Stoatfur go to the medicine cat den with it so I believe he's giving it to Sunsetkit now."

Owlcall's gaze dropped to his paws. "When we left, I guess Gingerpelt was expecting kits. While everyone was sleeping, Gingerpelt left to find somewhere to have her kits and she passed away. When he found her, we found the kits with her as well. We couldn't leave them behind." He mewed sadly.

"The other two that came back with us are the ones who brought us to the cure. The brown she-cat is Briar and the white she-cat is her younger sister, Sheep. They wanted to join Stormclan."

Stoatfur crouched eagerly in front of Sunsetkit, watching her as she was the first one to use the cure for the rat plague. He reached over and scraped some moss together before dipping it in a small pool of water that gathered in one corner of the medicine cat den. He hurried over and set it next to Sunsetkit.

"When you're ready, drink some of the water, Sunsetkit." He mewed, giving her ears a gentle lick.

She was about to say something when she heard a wail from the her den. She wanted to go get the cure, but Sheep came rushing over, to her frustration. She sat waiting for Stoatfur to. A sappy speech about how Sheep had helped save their clan. She stood up and went over to Sootkit. She would be the one to announce the kit's name.

Cherryflame
She opened her mouth to speak when Sheep rushed away, going to help Sunsetkit. She sighed amd lay down, still resenting her clanmates.


Speckleblaze
The tom shuddered as he heard a growling noise from the bushes ahead and settled with simply going to become a loner. He sighed and made his way to the empty border, away from the clans.

His eyes flickered towards Frozenpaw, then he darted out and snatched the mouse, biting at it hungrily. He pricked his ears and listened to her speak as he ate. Taking a gulp, Sagekit mewed a response. "I'm not lost. My momma and sister and I were traveling but momma got sick and left me and my sister in the nasty nofur camp. I got separated from my sister and now I'm here." Sagekit didn't mention how they were separated; he didn't like talking about it. But Frozenpaw was the first cat to try and speak with him in a while without telling him to leave her territory and stop stealing prey.

Aquafeather watched Stoatfur and Sunsetkit quietly in thought, calming her fearful nerves,'Thank StarClan. She'll be okay now that we have the cure.' She thought in a quiet prayer to their ancestors.

Sunsetkit swallowed the last of the flower that was in her mouth. When she heard Stoatfur told her that she should drink, Sunsetkit was more then willing for a drink. She reached head out till her nose touched the wet moss. Slowly she opened her mouth and started to drink some of the cool water. It felt nice and refreshing as it went down her dry throat. It wasn't long till she had drank most of it before she laid her head back down in the nest. She could feel herself relaxing a bit and sleep wanting to take over, but the little she-kit was scared of closing her blind eyes.

Cometpaw smirked at the she-kit, chuckling a little as Woldkit started climbing his leg. He looked towards his mentor,"It's all good, Foxfang. Her claws don't hurt too much yet." He said before purring happily. He kept his low crouch, so that if Wolfkit did fall, it won't be as bad.

She was clearning herself when the cure founders walked into the camp. She noticed the strangers and the kits in first, carefully she stepped closer to the tree kits and sniffed them "Thoise three? Are they Gingerpelt's?" she meowed curiously.

As the kit eated his mouse, she looked curiosuly at the kit "I see, You're not been alone too long right?" she meowed, realising that the kit wasen't in bad heal as other loners. Padding little closer to kit, she sniffed it "How old are you?" she asked.

He looked as the cats walked into the camp, feeling little curious to hear what kind of a trip they did have there, but knowed that htey could be kind of tired all of the travelling. So he didn't ask anything, just listened what they speaked there.

He was just ending his meal, when the group of cats walked in to the camp, with two unknown she-cats and three kits 'Must to be funny trip, when even kits are made' he thoúght, sighing. He turned to look the two stranger young cats 'Kittypets huh?' he murmured "So did you get the cure or was it only a fun trip?" he questioned loudly.

"Did you name Gingerpelt's kits yet? Or is Stoatfur going to?" Ryemouse asked. Before Tawnyshadow could ask how she knew Stoatfur was their father, Ryemouse said, "I'm his littermate, he can't keep anything from me."

"Everything will be fine now." Stoatfur mewed softly, stroking Sunsetkit's back with his tail. "Aquafeather is here to watch over you." He mewed before picking up another small flower and taking it over to Tansypaw.

"Eat this, then drink some water." He mewed to Tansypaw, setting the small flower down at her paws along with a soaked moss-ball.

the tom glanced over his shoulder as he saw stoatfur dash back into the den with a sheet of soft material. when he opened it up, it revealed small flowers. the cure. the corners of sparrowpaw's mouth stretched aside in a smile at the sight of the life-saving herb. "do you want me to help?" the male asked the medicine cat as he padded across to sunsetkit to treat the tiny cat before moving on to tansypaw. he waited as his sister weakly ate the flower and licked some water droplets from the ball of moss before looking back up at the older tom.

the she cat saw stoatfur speed into the den and give sunsetkit an odd smelling herb before dashing across to her. she blinked gratefully to the tom before licking up the floor and chewing it. it was quite bitter, but it didn't taste nearly as horrible as the other herbs she'd had to ingest. swallowing the remains of the flower, she stretched her neck and drew her pale tongue across the moss, feeling the fresh coolness of the water in her throat.

"yes, the clan will need us." she agreed as she lifted her head and sniffed the air for prey. she flicked her tail in the direction she would be heading before following the scent of mouse. as the grey and white she cat spotted the tiny brown-furred creature, she crouched low so her belly fur brushed the ground as she crept towards it. when she thought she was close enough, she leaped. the mouse squeaked and tried to escape, but its terrified shriek was cut short when thymecloud pounced on it and killed it with a blow to the head.
