Flamestar left the patrol to think about what had jut happened, leaving the crow behind knowing someone else would grab it when she heard the mewling of kits. Flamestar dashed forward to see Rosekit and Squirrelkit playing in the woods. "You two shouldn't be out here," she growls. She then picks the two kits up by their scruffs and carries them back to the nursery where she sets them down. Noticing Swiftbreeze is not there she growls to them "You scared your mother and now she's looking for you, you are going to stay in the nursery until Swiftbreeze comes"

Rosekit shrunk into herself guiltily. "I-I'm s-sorry." She stuttered in a whisper. She was half in awe of the Clan leader, and half full of fear, of getting in trouble.

Squirrelkit lifted her head defiantly. "Swiftbreeze went out, so we decided to follow her." She made a face. "Then we tried to hunt, but all I found was a worm and some mushrooms." Squirrelkit stomped her little paw. "But you disturbed us!" She was unfazed by Flamestar's rank.

Swiftbreeze trotted into camp, and went into the nursery. She stopped and tilted her head curiously when she saw Flamestar with her kits. "Is everything okay?" She asked.

Breezepaw nodded "Y...yes Foxclaw" she stammered, hauling herself onto the branch with an "Oof"

"Better. Try again, and this time, claw your way up." He demonstrated by climbing up to the next branch. "It's like running sideways. Or swimming," he added thoughtfully.

Echolight noticed Flamestar by the nursery with Rosekit and squirrelkit. She was about to go over to see what was wrong until Swiftbreeze padded over first. She decided to leave them since they seemed to have everything under control. She looked around the camp for something to do. Patrols had already been sent out and she had already been in an earlier border patrol. She decided she would use her spare time to take a quick walk in the forest. Maybe hunt along the way. She padded towards the camp's exit.

"The kits are not hurt, thankfully, but they could have been. They decided to explore outside the boundaries we set for kits," Flamestar replies.

Leopardfly stared at a tree in the smaller, lesser used forest, deep in thought.
