WildFern turned her head at the sound of MudPaw's voice. The deputy thought for a moment."I'm afraid not. Remember what happend last time when you went out of camp by yourself?" WildFern meowed, reminding the apprentice of the incident with Tansy."That reminds me - you never asked for premission to leave camp at that time."

WindTail followed after BeaverStep, waving his tail in greeting towards ShadowPelt. At least there was still someone in camp who wouldn't side with the loner. The warrior ditched the prey in the pile, heading off to the warriors den.

Tansy lifted her head in the den. It sounded like someone was outside. The loner very cautiosly moved to the den exit, peeking outside."Hello." She quietly meowed to StormBreeze.

ApplePaw gave out a choppy breath in replace of a laugh. "BeaverStep says the smell is way to strong and tangy," she told GrayCloud. "Someone has to get used to it, I guess," she began and flicked her tail. "I did also think the scent was a bit strong at first, but not horrible," she ended, with a twitch of her nose.

BeaverStep looked over to see WindTail moving away from the fresh-kill pile, towards the warriors den. Maybe he should also go to the den and just relax in his nest. Though, that probably wasn't the best idea for his neck at the moment. So instead he padded over to a tree and slumped down next to it. His tail draping over one of the large roots.

"I think I found the scent a bit strong too at first. But it was comforting as well. I don't know how to describe it. I think it was just so exciting, being surrounded by the herbs I'd work with from then on."

"Oh..." Tansy meowed, a bit surprised someone even was intrested in speaking to her."I don't really mind." She then answerd, moving away from the den entrance a bit so that StormBreeze could enter.

Stormbreeze assumed that because she stepped back, she was inviting him inside the den. He sat down on an extra nest and faced Tansy. "I've lived my whole life with a large group of Clans, and I can't grasp my mind around the idea of living alone with nobody to rely on. What's it like?"

Tansy followed after the tom, sitting down in the nest she was resting in earlier. The she-cat had to think about the question for a bit before answering."I suppose the simplest answer would be that it's hard. You'll have to work at all times in order to keep yourself alive."

Stormbreeze nodded, thinking to himself for a moment. "That makes sense. Did you ever have a companion? Like... kin, or friends of some sort?" He asked curiously. Surely, nobody would leave a newborn kit to fend for their self. Tansy must've had somebody to guide her at one point, right?

Tansy nodded."Of course. At the beginning of my life I used to stay with my brother and mother. I became a loner when my brother left to be with his friends and when my mother became a kittypet." The loner meowed, quite open about her past.
