The grey tom was sitting near the warriors den watching his clan mates boredly. He had tried getting the courage to talk to some of the others but the fear of embarrassing himself hung heavily over him. Sighing softly he glanced towards the apprentices den to see Blazepaw and Mintpaw emerge from the den. As much as he wanted to be a mentor he knew he was nowhere near ready to teach another cat..but if owlstar thought he as ready then he knew he might as well try and if that doesn't work out ask if blazepaw could get another mentor.

Blazepaw

After a little bit of looking around the camp for his mentor, Blazepaw spotted Mumblefur sitting near the warriors' den. Quickly, he headed over to his mentor. He asked excitedly,"What will we be doing for training today?" He thought about the options. Would it be battle training? Hunting? Hopefully it wasn't cleaning the elders' den. He didn't understand why Mintpaw was happy to pull ticks off of the elders just to hear stories, because he definitely had no interest in it himself.

"Alright" OwlPaw mumbled, his tail swishing. We already have enough prey He wanted to say but decided there was no use in arguing with his mentor. Besides the clan could always use more prey, right? The tom started to head in the direction DappleBriar pointed to.

"Good!", purred the Medicine Cat. "Now, let's go get those poppyseeds and put them on leaves and tie those leaves with grass. Like when we prepare traveling herbs. This will be the easiest way to carry them back to camp", said Silvertail, as she began walking in the direction that her apprentice had gestured.

(Hmmm...I'd add Blade to this rp but she is a bit of an evil char..)

MouseStep nodded and followed close behind her mentor. Her good eye darted to look at the bushes around her, her ears were pricked and her head was high, listening intensely to the forest noises in case anything popped out at them. Ever since that fox attacked that took her parents away from her, MouseStep couldn't help but feel more then anxious about being in the forest, even if she was with another cat.

"D-D...." Emptyeyes trailed off. The white tom's voice rose to a shrill wail. "I-I can't see!"

DreamRunner looked down at the wounded cat at his paws, worry lining his face as he looked inside the medicine den; neither of the clans healers were there! The blue tom looked back out at the camp entrance. "Stay here!" He meowed to EmptyEyes "I'll get SilverTail." DreamRunner sped off into the forest again, sniffing the air for any sign of the medicine cat and or her apprentice.

The deputy realized that she just imagined that. She was there through the whole thing, and she didn't do a thing! What was wrong with her? Lowering her strange colored green eyes, she notices Dreamrunner returning. Before going to the tom, she remarks borders. Then Ivyfern quickly goes up to the tom.

Her gaze flickered around the camp. Most of the other warriors had gone out on a patrol or such. Clouddapple sighed through her nose and vanished through the camp entrance with a twitch of her tail.

The tom flicked his tail lazily in the golden rays of sun. He didn't really feel like moving, thus he lay where he is now. Sparrowpatch gave his chest fur a few brisk licks and hauled himself from his comfortable spot. Why not make himself useful? The young warrior followed Clouddapple out, and vereed deeper into the territory in search of prey.

Emptyeyes, showing emotion for the first time in his life. He let out a pitiful sound, similar to a kit's mewl. What if that mange-pelt is the last thing I ever see? He curled his claws so hard he was almost pricking his own pads.

Zerol watched in horror as the big, powerful, mean 'Clan' cat laid there whining like a kit.

Noticing the amount of warriors leaving camp, Soottedtail began to feel her paws tingling with boredom. She sighed, and finally got to her paws, heading out as well. She convinced herself that there was enough people in camp to protect it. As she slipped out of the entrance of the camp, she noticed Clouddapple and Sparrowpatch in front of her. Blinking, she hurried to catch up to the two. Once she finally did she gave them a bow of her head. "Hello, Clouddapple, Sparrowpatch. How's it going?"
