His expression softened and a low rumble came from his chest. It wasn't a grow, but more like a purr.

Rowan
She laughed. "I think I'm too old for you, but maybe not as old as you think." Her eyes sparkled. "I think I'll stay here, where the water is. Will you visit me?"

Frostbite
"Totally!" Frostbite said. "I'll visit you every day if I can!" he smiled. "See ya! Mama's calling me!" Frostbite waved goodbye and ran off when he heard Scar yell "Frostbite! Time to come home!"

Rowan
She waved, her smile now tinged with sadness. Rowan watched him until she could no longer see him. She laughed, remembering she had only left the protection of her mother a couple weeks ago. Suddenly, she remembered the water behind her. Filled with newfound energy, she sliced through the liquid easily. The water cooled her scales, making her love it even more.

Frostbite and Scar
As he walked away, Frostbite frowned the same way Rowan did. He sighed and sat by his mom under a cherry blossom tree.

"Did you have a good time with Rowan?" Scar asked and smiled at her baby Icewing. Frostbite replied, "Yea. Can we have, like, a sleepover tomorrow?" Frostbite tilted his head and grinned. "Pleeease?"

"I'll ask Rowan." Scar said and nudged Frostbite. "Tonight, you're sleeping with your sister. I'm going to talk with Rowan."

"Okay, Mama." Frostbite said, and walked over to Icicle and Celestia. Frostbite laid down next to his sister and fell asleep.

Scar flew away from her family and landed by the water. "Rowan?" Scar called out, and looked in the water. Scar saw something glowing, so it must have been Rowan.

Rowan
She poked her head out of the water sharply. "Oh, its you. I thought something was attacking me! Yes?" She smiled at Scar pleasantly.

"Umm, is it okay if I hang out here for a bit?" Scar asked, smiling back.

"Sure, don't see why not." She floated on her belly, her snout half-immersed in the water, like a crocodile.

"Thanks." Scar said and smiled. "Frostbite was wondering if he could have a sleepover with you tomorrow. Is that okay?"

"Of course. I'm quite fond of him too, you know. Hes a sweet, spirited little guy." She laughed, which made bubbles.

"I'm sure he will be really happy." Scar said. "Sometimes he can be a real pain..." she giggled and smiled.
