Silverkit and Rosekit began to become more worried. "No one's coming." Rosekit sobbed. Silverkit wanted to comfort his sister but what could he do if he was as scared as she was?

"It's alright Rose." He mewed. "They'll come." Rosekit barely nodded.

''Rosekit!Silverkit!'',called Moonstar,''Echoflash!Do you see them?'',Moonstar called up to the flying she-cat

"No." Echoflash reported. "ButI can smell them! They're nearby!" She called down to Moonstar.

''Yes I can catch a small scent'',Moonstar opened her mouth and tasted the air and she recognised the twins scent,''This way!'',Moonstar jumped over a fallen log,''Silverkit!Rosekit!''

"Moonstar!" The two cried at once. "We're over here!" Rose leaped forward, trying to reach the patrol but got caught in a tangle of roots.

"Rose!" Silverkit cried. "Moonstar help! Rose got her paws tangled in some roots! We need to get her out!"

"Silver, I'll be fine." She grunted but she knew she couldn't get out on her own.

''Rosekit'',Moonstar said,she bit the root and it snapped,Moonstar picked up Rosekit by the scruff and pointed at Silverkit as a signal to Echoflash to get him.

Echoflash nodded and scooped up the small silver-grey kit.

"Put me down!" He wriggled in objection. Echoflash shook her head and kept flying, the kit grunted in disagreement.
