Lightheart went to see the new kits,they were so cute,she wished she could have her own.

Sweetheart was awakened when Smallkit pounced on Sweetheart's head . ``I want to go outside`` Smallkit announced. ``Go back to sleep`` Sweetheart said grumpily. When Smallkit fell back asleep Sweetheart went outside and looked at Silverpelt. There was a few stars still up, and Sweetheart wondered if her former mate was up there. He was killed in cold blood by a rogue cat before his kits were born. She then wondered if Shadowheart liked her.

Lightheart sat next to the nursery warming her pelt in the sun.

Lightheart went over to the small lake.Her paw flew in and came out with a wriggling fish between her claws.She caught 4 more fish and struggling to carry them she went back to camp.

Rust was sleeping next to Crow, and it was clear he was having a nightmare. He kicked and squirmed, almost waking up the other four kittens who had insisted on snuggling together to sleep.

Lightheart saw rust having a nightmare,she came over to the kit and started to lick him."it's ok"she said in her most soothing voice.
The kit seemed to quieten down.
