Rai charged, grabbing bird after bird out of the air and ripping them to pieces. "No animal deserves to be eaten alive by these leeches! No one deserves this!" He was fighting for his mate, who had died because he wasn't there until the last moment. He vowed that he would help all those about to be killed.

[Solanum]

"Oh come on Rai... Nom... Nom... Nom." He crunched down harder on the crow, his powerful jaws reducing it to bite-size chunks in no time. Blood dribbled down his muzzle, a smirk on his face. "So what are we going to do about Dark? We can't leave him like this. Either we heal him, or we kill him quickly. Long deaths are very painful, I wouldn't want him to suffer."

[SilverHund]

Rai choked up. "I can't kill a wolf who hasn't killed out of hate. I...not...I vowed I wouldn't after i couldn't save my mate." He looked sadly at dark, painful memories stinging like bullets in his mind.

Shade felt a twinge. Was....Rai alive? He had watched Yuki and his father die. His father died protecting his pack from Apollo. How could he be back?

[Solanum]

Merr shrugged. "Well you wouldn't have to do it. I would, if it was for the best. I gave useless killing up ages ago..."

[SilverHund]

"I know...It's just, I was too late to save her," Rai winced, tear filling his eyes. He blinked them away and his eyes hardened again. He wasn't who he was then. He had faced death and fought it till he was free. He wasn't going to show the pain of his past. For Shade.

[Bolt1784]

"Leave...me...alone." Dark weakly growled, shakily staggering to his paws. "D-Don't annoy me when I'm dying." He started limping off again, this time going quicker. When he was out of sight again, he sat down and looked at his bad paw with a sigh. Suddenly he spotted a grey wolf heading towards Darkla, aiming to get her. Even if she does hate me now, she's still my daughter. Keep cool, Darky. He slowly crept towards the wolf until it was in range, then snarled and sprang at it. The injured wolf hit his target and bit the other wolf, only to be shaken off.
"Stupid dog! Get away you mutt!" The grey wolf shouted. He slashed at Dark with his claws, but Dark stood his ground and waited for his chance. Once the grey wolf stopped, the black wolf half jumped forwards to bite him, but fell down to the ground and was attacked again. Four more solves came to help and all went at a different wolf, but Dark wouldn't have it. He sprang up again and barked at them to scare them, and then stood in front of his friends with a fierce growl. One wolf decided to take a shot and ran forwards, aiming for Rai, but Dark reacted quickly and took the hit for him.
"YOU STUPID MUTT!!! MOVE IT!" The wolf angrily shouted at him. Dark shot at the wolf and bit his leg, only to be beaten again, but this time by the other wolves all at the same time. They beat him to the point of immobility, then ran off as quickly as they could, leaving him to die.

Yuki shot out from behind a bush and ran up to her dying father, instantly bursting in to tears at the sight. "DADDY!!!" She screamed, hugging him tightly.
"Yuki..." Dark quietly managed to bark. He hugged her back as best as he could, but it made her silvery coat all bloody.
Yuki took a step back and looked at the blood running down her front from the hug...She was obviously getting very very mad now...All that she could think of was getting revenge for her father, nothing else. For once, she wanted to kill.

[Solanum]

Merr trotted after Dark, smiling away until he saw what was happening. "RAI!" He leapt at a wolf, slamming his head into it's side. "Get out of here. We are many, and you are few... And besides, three of us could easily take a hundred of you. You are weak." He spat at them, snorting.

[SilverHund]

"I am not weak! I am from your pack!" He snarled, angry that he wasn't accepted even after he'd come back to save them from the beast.

The beast was tracking Rai, following the scent. It had been sent to destroy him and his bloodline, as they were the last of King Redblood's line.

[Solanum]

"My pack?" Merr curled his lips into a cruel smirk. "My pack is dead. Drowned, murdered, gone." He shrugged, stepping closer, standing tall to look down at the wolf. "If sent away from a pack, you should leave. If you were not welcomed into the land, we have the authority and the permission to rip your throats out."

[SilverHund]

"But I'm the Shadow Pack beta!" Rai protested. Why wasn't he accepted back to his home? "My son is a healer in your pack! His name is Shade!" Rai could not leave his son ever again.

Shade followed Yuki. He choked up when he saw Dark. "W-wha? WHO DID THIS?" Shade bellowed, flashing from grief to rage in an instant.
