Flower That Blooms in Shade
Flower felt like she was trapped. How did she end up having the worst luck? She was there to retrieve a lock of hair from Little, yet her kits were missing. Why did her kits have to be missing during an important mission that she was on? The apprentice was stuck not knowing what to say for a moment. The she-cat paused, startled, as she watched the queen run to and fro in the room. "I'm -- uh -- here to clean out the nests. Perhaps someone can help you find them? Like Shadow?" she offered a solution, trying to appear friendly. Flower did not want to raise suspicions in Little; that would jeopardize the integrity of the mission.

Stream Where Small Fish Swim
"The tribe does not believe that Tempest killed Moon. Night, Moon's adopted mother, last saw Moon leaving camp to take Moon hunting. Keep in mind that sailors are not supposed to encourage taking kits out of camp due to their size and immaturity. Moon was last seen with Little. According to Light, the lieutenant, Tempest and he were out for a run. He caught up to Tempest to see Moon laying dead near the isthmus barrier. That does not leave a lot of time to mentally decide to kill a kit, and Tempest would have known that Light was close behind him and he would not have sufficient time to hide the body. The body was not hid to begin with. Whoever killed Moon wanted her to be found. They smoothed out their tracks as they left. Before we hardly got the news in camp, Little came in with Shadow and the rest of your group, stating that Tempest had abused you. Little was being a caretaker for the injured, but Shadow raised up everyone against Tempest who had physically attacked them without a means of defense," she paused to make sure he was following, curious to hear what he would have to say to the first part of her theory.

Eye of the Eerie Tempest
Suddenly a courageous, not-so-smart idea came to mind. He wanted to see the tribe. He had been gone for too long, and if anything, he would be satisfied merely to see how the members have adjusted to the new leadership. "Star, would you mind if Spirit and me tagged along in the morning?" The former leader merely needed to be at peace as to whether or not life in the tribe was not in peril.

Shadow That Dances at Night
Shadow felt the claws dig into his shoulder, and the movement made hate ebb around him like a sinister veil. His eyes became shrouded with, not fear, but distrust. He refused to give her the satisfaction of pushing him off the cliff. The cliff was his lifeline, a tentative dangle between the living and the dead. Life had never been precious to him until he learned that creating it was better than destroying. His kits showed him a world he had otherwise been cut off from, but it was too late for him. His mind had already been set in stone, set in his ways like the claw markings dug into the side of the cliff. The sea spray made it slippery underpaw, and he tore out claws with each desperate pull towards the surface. He was going to be in control. Control was what he yearned for. It was his last order, one done in a flash of fury.
He pushed off of the cliff with the energy he had left, feeling a moment of peace as he dangled in the air before abruptly dropping downwards. Shadow hoped he had pushed off far enough to avoid the jagged rocks below, but only time would tell. His bright green eyes shone with a distinct light, shrouded in fog pulled up the cliff side. Gently the light faded from view, replaced by the sight of the water quickly coming upon him. He felt weightless as he hit the water. His breath had been knocked out of him. Pain flushed his features, but it felt more so delightful in the light of the situation.
From the view of the cliff side, it would be difficult to see entirely to the bottom. The sea spray from oncoming waves sends up a thick fog, and thus, Shadow was lost to the world. One could not be sure if he physically died or mentally died, or perhaps a combination a both, but the form did not reappear when the surf cleared.

Fog from Misty Storm
the young kit was confident as to where he was going at first, but eventually he realized that he did not recognize the surrounding area. He had a moment of inner panic, glancing back towards Wolf who was blindly following him. Mist felt a wave of guilt come over him. The urge to cry pushed him to stop, tail dropping miserably when he knew he would have to admit defeat. That's what I get for going too far! he thought somberly. "Wolf, I-I don't remember how to get back."
