"Oh...they left? Do you know why?" She blinked at her questioning her interest in SkyPack, not expecting to be asked. Mischief paused for a moment before she shrugged at Chachie. "I guess for the same reason I admire all the Packs. They're genuinely skilled. Like, have you ever seen how high a SkyPack dog can leap? They're basically unstoppable, especially because they stand together, like a real family." She grinned to herself as her eyes wandered to the ground, a small, slightly wistful smile, her chipped tooth characterizing the gesture. "I think they're really special. I've always wanted to be a part of something like that." She looked up from the patch of ground she had been looking at and cocked her head curiously at the other doggiepet. "Doesn't everyone?"

"I'm assuming you were born there?" She woofed "that's pretty cool!" She wiggled her tail. Then she nodded to Mischief "maybe a sickness broke out or something?" She shrugged. "Wouldn't be unusual for a wild pack." She tilted her head to the side. "There could be many reasons..."

Skull’s eyes couldn’t help but narrow as the rustling continued. Leaping out of the small puddle he’d cooled off in, he padded over, inhaling the air before freezing. Fox. He growled, his lips curling up into a snarl as he slowly crept closer before a full grown fox leapt at him. He growled out as it pinned him, the fox’s jaws jumping to his throat followed by a small screech of the creature. His spiked collar had really done him justice. With the animal taken by surprise he bowled it over with a heavy blow, the fox speeding into the forest again with blood dripping jaws. He shook himself off, a bit soar from the hit but nothing grand. Walking back over to the shade he sat, his racing heart finally calming down again.

His vision blurred, as he stumbled through the forest. All he could smell was smoke and ash, nothing but ashes. He didn't remember anything about everything. Who he was, How he got here, What his name was, nothing. Something red sped past him, the dog couldn't identify it, nor did he care. Help He thought to himself, Someone help. He thought over and over again along with water. For he had found the bitterness in his throat sharpening, and his headache hardening. He walked through some foliage and exhausted from hunger, thirst, and his desperation collapsed unconscious.

(Hey, so I found that Skull wasn't exactly being roleplayed with, and I looked at his profile. I came to the conclusion that I liked his character, so I decided to send someone to him. I am not suggesting in any way that you should interact with Shade though! It is entirely your decision, please do not feel that you are forced to interact with Shade. You have every right to make Skull ignore him. If you so choose for Skull to ignore him then Shade will die of thirst, and from having too much smoke in his lungs. There. No more Shade. I await your response. Thanks!)

The canine could hear a faint huff..almost like a wheeze..His eyes narrowed before he heard it get closer, the wheezing increasing and his ears perked. He was a marine dog-he’d experienced a few fires, and he could almost automatically tell it was the cause of the rough breathing. He got up in a hurry, looking around frantically, he smelt a small pup-maybe 6-9 moons old? And he couldn’t help but let his heart drop, his chest heaved as he trailed around sniffing for the internally injured dog, he didn’t know why he was so urgent to help but it was like a first nature. Finally he padded around a bramble bush where he watch a tiny mutt slowly trot along the mud. He quickened his pace, not even letting out a word before picking it up by the scruff-the best he did was offer a friendly look-before rushing back to the fresh puddle and putting him down. He didn’t exactly know what to say, and then he thought-stupidly-What if there were more? Is it a pack? A family? He looked down, awaiting the small pups first words to him hesitantly.

(thank you for interacting with my character and Shade is a smol boy, I think of skull somehow gets “attached” he’ll act more like a father towards him-after the hostile or low stage in the beginning)

He suddenly felt his body being lifted in the air, and struggled weakly. He couldn't see his attacker, because his eyes stung and it hurt to open them. So he closed them all the more tightly as his attacker set him down in what Shade had guessed was his attacker's evil lair, where surely this brute would eat him. He let out a soft whimper. "Water." he half wheezed. "I need-" further words were lost in a fit of coughs. He let out a wheeze and went to sleep, somewhat glad that he wouldn't have to walk anymore.

She found herself hoping vigorously that Chachie's first assumption was wrong. They don't deserve to go out like that. That would be so disappointing... Her head lifted eagerly at the newcomer. "What was it like?" she asked, her enthusiasm exceeding her desire to appear composed before these older dogs as her tail thumped the grass. However, it stilled as she got a better look at Firelight. She blinked hard, an eerie feeling coming over her. She seemed so...familiar, even though Mischief was certain she'd never encountered her in the flesh before now. She yipped, almost hushed, "Have we...met before?"

Firelight was pondering what might have happened to Skypack when Mischief's question shook her from her thoughts. Did she know this dog? She DID look familiar now that she thought about it. Then she remembered her dream a flash of dog heads, one of those was her! "I think we had a dream? One where we saw each other's faces?"
