Blueflower nudged the three kits forwards. 'Go on, you new apprentices. Meet your mentors and make yourselves nests.' She watched them go, proudly, even though they weren't her own, Blueflower had helped raise them.

Daisyfrost's eyes lit up as she happily trotted towards the front. She sat down, scanning the crowd for signs of the apprentice.

Rust had hoped it was an empty house, so he could possibly raid it. But when he arrived to the yard, he could see a cat inside the yard, behind the fence. A kittypet, perhaps, he thought. Rust decided to pad over to the cat. "Hello there," he greeted curiously.

Hopepaw Ran over to daisyfrost so happy she can bearly hold it! "starclan thank you! you gave me the best mentor and the one i wanted!" She ran over almost toppling over. "Oh starclan daisyfrost, your going to teach me everything you know! right!" She jumped up. Touched noses with daisyfrost and when done sat down next to her mentor knowing that soon they'd be the best of friends

Red swished her tail, then held it still as the mouse looked up. She held her breath until it settled back down and nibbled on a seed. She took a small step forward, still in the hunting crouch. Red narrowed her eyes and pounced, claws unsheathed. It squeaked in terror as she held it down with one paw, then in pain as she clawed it with the other. Unwillingly, Red began shredding it, throwing all her anger and hurt at it, imagining it was her brother, until it was just a pile of mouse fur and blood. The dark red tabby sniffed at it in disdain, then walked away to find a stream to rinse off her paws in, leaving the shredded mouse exposed behind her.

The cat turned around quickly to see Rust. "Who are you?" The jumpy cat mewed.

Daisyfrost's heart swelled with pride just looking at Hopepaw's enthusiasm. "Do you really think that about me...?" She whispered, smiling greatly. "Yes! Of course! I'll teach you everything so you can become the greatest warrior!" Daisyfrost purred proudly, touching noses with her new apprentice.


Rust cocked his head at the cat. It wasnt like he was a clan cat, so he didnt mind giving out his name. "Oh, I'm Rust. Just a loner," he mewed lazily. "How about you? Whats your name?"

Larkpaw started to not like the fact of having a grumpy mentor all though he wanted to become medicine cat, "Uh why am i apprentice when i am only 3 moons old?" He mewed "Isn't it against the warrior code?" he was the youngest of the litter, since they were born apart. it went rosepaw *Oldest* Hopepaw *Middle* and larkpaw *youngest* He was born right after frostfang disappeared.

She looked to the house, and made a few steps towards it. "But I am sure they'll be back. Their house is empty, but they have to be coming back for me." She turned back to Rust with hope filled in her eyes. "I just know it."

River stopped himself from the urge to run into the group of cats, and join in on their cheering and happiness. He frowned when the cat on top of the rock announced a death, but he quickly turned back to icy wonder when the cat continued. River looked fiercely at his paws, then looked up again, watching as cats came to the front to meet other cats, then touch noses with each other. He wasn't sure what was happening, or what any of it meant, but he was mildly interested in all of it. He remained hidden behind the tree, poking his head out form the thick trunk to watch.

Lightpaw's heart was leaping with excitement, and he could barely stop himself from yowling happily. Instead he yowled the new apprentices names, mourned for Spottedblaze, then yowled Needleheart's new name, smiling as he did. He was so happy, and couldn't wait to finally meet some new apprentices. But, when Lightpaw had had to go up to the front with Whitesong, his new mentor, he had nervously padded through the cats, hoping he didn't look how he felt. He slowly touched noses with Whitesong, slowly growing less nervous. He had begun to calm down, and smiled gratefully as Patchstar announced the new deputy, Firefoot, and he cheered his name along with the rest of the clan.

[Ahhh, so sorry I missed the the ceremony, just came home from a game.]
