Rabbitfur had heard pawsteps behind them so, while Leopardstripe dug, he went back to assist Cloudgaze to her son, then stayed back to allow the two to mourn before he assisted with covering the grave.

Leopardstripe broke into sobs out of nowhere.

Rabbitfur made sure it was filled correctly before moving to the background, standing guard for the sightless warriors to grieve in safety.

Cloudgaze didn't argue against or for Stripestar leaving. He was a grown tom and could make his own decisions if he wanted to. She crouched down beside the freshly moved dirt that now covered Mousekit and hung her head in sorrow.
