"Alleypaw' s in trouble!" Copperpaw mewed again. "This way!" He shot off up the steel slope, Foxcloud dragging herself behind him as quickly as she could.

Heartclaw ran beside Foxcloud.

Alleypaw struggled in the dirt.

Copperpaw skidded to a halt. "Here!" Foxcloud began to scooping at the dirt, but it was quite difficult with only one paw to use.

Ravenflight gasped, running after them. He accompanied Foxcloud, using as much strength as he could muster.

Heartclaw joined in the digging, helping the two other older warriors.

Alleypaw choked on the dirt as he lie there.

Foxcloud growled in determination. She may only be able tune her two legs, but she would to the best of her ability to save her son.

Copperpaw dug as fast as he could.

Ravenflight scooped pawfuls of dirt at the quickest pace in his ability.

Heartclaw dug further. He felt something fluffy beneath his paw, "I've found him!"
