"There's nothing to talk about," She said quietly but firmly.

" All right then," said Shadowfur walking off. But he didn't head towards his clan. He headed to the abandoned two leg nest, which was and old store. He bolted across the thunder path and a monster nearly hit him. He went into the shop, found a good spot, and lay down.

After he was gone, she thought, 'It was a test. If you really loved me you would never leave me, even if I told you to" She felt tears rolling soundlessly off of her face. She was crying soundlessly.

Shadow woke up the next morning to the honking of horns, the cries of two legs and the sound of fire. A monster had rolled off the thunder path and it had caught fire. Shadow hid in the shadows because he didn't want to be seen. A little two leg ran up to him and said, " Mommy mommy a kitty cat!"
" Sweetie, be quiet. We don't want to scare him. He's far from the neighbourhoods and doesn't have a collar, so let's leave him be." said the two leg queen.
Man, what strange creatures two legs are. he thought.

She padded to the back of her den and fell asleep.

When she woke up, she felt woozy. She got up and immediately knew what was wrong with her. She had greencough, the second most deadliest chest infection. She ate catmint and blocked of the den. Telling everyone not to come ear her. She ate more catnip.
'Shadowfur probably gave it to me,' she thought bitterly,'Why does he jot love me anymore? I guess I'm not worth it to be with,' she thought.

Over the past few days, she had gotten better. It was near leafbare, and she was running low in catmint. She would have to make a special journey to the Twolegplace. They usually had some in their gardens. She spoke with the leader and she was allowed to go. She walked off int he direction of the Twolegplace and got to one. She went into the garden and started her search for the catmint. She would have to act quickly, the female Twoleg had a kit.

When Shadow woke up, he was no longer in the abandoned nest. He was on a soft bed, had a dish of food, a dish of water, and a collar on. The two legs had captured him. They must've gotten him when he fell asleep.

" Mommy mommy Blackie's awake!!!" screeched the two leg kit.
" Oh good dear, now why don't you go and get Rosey," said the two leg queen.
Blackie? I'm Shadow! Who the heck is Rosey? he thought

He had no time to ponder because there was a hissing, spitting female cat just inches from his face.
" Woah. Hello," said Shadow, but the female pounced. She was weak, so Shadow easily kicked her off. He pinned her, and bit her right foreleg. She yowled, and the two leg queen grabbed Shadow, tossed him in the dark bathroom, and slammed the door. She came back a few minutes later with a strange lockable box, his strange soft nest, and his food and water. The box was big, so she put his nest, food, water, and a small toy that was supposed to be a mouse. She shoved him in, locked the box, and closed the door. He heard that lock too. He bit the toy, and, to his amazement,it tasted like catnip. He had had catnip once when he was younger. He was sick and bored, so the medicine cat gave it to him. He tried to break from this strange box, but ended up just falling asleep.
