Nodding at his name, Shadow Demon said this simply. "Hello then, Fire, I have heard a good deal about you. Enjoy your stay here. You and your sister are neutrals. So unless you do something rash you will be fine." After a few more minutes of walking she paused near a small steam that was very near to their den. "We are almost there. Would you like a drink?" She mummered as she lowered her mouth to the water.

"Interesting" Lights said in a slightly mocking tone. "A blind brother. Its a shame he found our alpha" She said with a wistful sigh. "Such a pity. If it had been her brother, your brother would be dead. No pretty red to paint with" Letting out a soft whimper of regret she flicked her tail back and forth. "But that doesnt tell me how you know he is with our alpha." Green eyes twinkling like daggers, she slowly circled the female. "Tell me. How do you know. Or maybe I will have to make a snack of you"

"Lights!" Rave growled as he stopped running and came to a standstill next to her. Pinning his ears he glared. "Be polite. You know full well, Unless she is our enemy, you cannot eat her without permission." Growling at her until she back down a bit he sighed and turned back to the new female. "Im sorry about my sister, she can be a bit.....well.....bloodthirsty and insane?" Dipping his head in a slight bow he continues. "I am Rave, she is Lights. I heard your brother was here, with possibly our alpha?"

Dusk felt queasy at Lights' words, but a low growl ripped through her teeth when she said that there wouldn't be any red to paint with. She composed herself, pinning her ears back once more as the other wolf appeared. She kept her head up high, though her tail was tucked slightly. Her forest green gaze shifted to Rave when he spoke to her, a little surprised by his apologetic tone. " It's fine, I suppose... " she flicked an ear back, " I'm Dusk... My brother told me he was with your alpha. He has .. telepathic abilities. He told me that, if any wolves found me, to tell them that he was with your alpha. " She wasn't sure about being around Lights, as she had mocked her brother and then basically threatened to eat her.

The blind wolf didn't answer her next words, though he was curious about how she'd heard about him. He didn't ask her, though, and remained silent as he followed after her. He knew that he, himself, wouldn't do anything rash, but he couldn't count on his sister to not, mainly because of the temper she had. At the words she spoke next, accompanied by a question, he padded forward until he was next to the river, and dipped his mouth to the water, drinking the cool liquid gratefully.

"Ahhh how boring" Light whimpered. Rubbing up against her brother she turned away and trotted back towards the den without a further word. She wanted to kill something so she would be off hunting for a bit. (Sorry got a block)

Rolling his eyes a bit at his sister, Rave looked at her "Hello Dusk. Well If that is what you say, then follow me. We are a good distance away from our den, but that is where she would take your brother. Come this way please" Dipping his head, he stepped lightly away from her and let his glowstick dim and headed towards the den. "So why did he come here? I get that he is blind. But why in the first place where you near our territory.

Finishing her drink, she waded in a bit and dropped onto her belly and gave a short roll in the water. It wasnt to hot out, but her coat was a bit filthy so she didnt mine the small back. Getting out, she padded a good distance away from Fire and shook her fur, sending the water flying. "Alright, this way Fire. We are very close now" Letting her eyes flicker over him, she wondered what he looked like as a pup. Feeling a bit surprised by this thought, she growled to herself and thought. "No, he is nothing of interest. Do not concern yourself with him."

Dusk dipped her head in response to him, and padded quietly after him. " Of course.. " she murmured, toying nervously with the shadows around her as she followed after Rave. " Well.. I suppose he followed me. I.. er, when I run -- for fun, I mean -- I don't... I lose track of my surroundings, and my senses sort of dim, I suppose. I came onto this land first, and he must have followed to look for me -- theoretically... " If she could have been blushing, she would have been, considering how embarrassed she was. " It was my fault. I pretty much led him here. If I had been paying attention... " The young fae sighed, trailing off.

Fire could hear Shadow Demon roll in the water -- it was more of a splashing sound -- and his burgundy - tipped ears flickered as he heard her shaking her coat out. His ears perked at the sound of her voice, and he padded swiftly after the older fae. He didn't answer her -- there was basically nothing to answer to anyhow. The young wolf padded after her, his paws scraping against the forest floor clumsily in his rush to follow after her. " So how did you end up as the alpha of a pack? " he asked curiously, lifting his blind gaze in her direction, his ears following her.

"Mmm, thats not good. You need to be more careful you know. You never know what dark monsters roam. Like Lights for example. She would have no problem at all eating you, or at least trying. Thats just her personality." Chuckling softly he sighed and headed farther into the woods. Pausing briefly, Rave shook his head. "Why does you pack fear us so much? Ive tried to talk to some of you before, but they just ran when I approached"

"Mmmm that is a interesting question indeed. My brother and I, Темный, we were taken by humans long ago. Forced to fight in their pits, we either won or we would be killed or at least severely beaten. This happened for I believe three years? Темный handled it well during that time, and I was the unstable one. But in our last fight, Темный died. Killed by a bear in front of my eyes. Thats when I found out I had powers. My rage, pain, desperation, and loneliness exploded out of me and the ground in the form of darklings and covered Темный, they healed him, and one, I will never forget, but it brought his soul back. And a few minutes later, he woke up. But he was different, hes now slightly insane, and has a nasty temper. His bloodlust to is bad, but I changed and began more stable. After that the humans feared us and let us go. We traveled for many moons across forests, plains, and mountains until we finally arrived here. So we started our own pack, for the misfits, for the loners, and for the dangerous wolfs everybody fears." Falling quiet, she arrived at their pack den it was a cave back up to the mountain and went deeper inside the mountain, but they only made use of the first few chambers. "We are here. If you are hungry or thirsty, we have both. Or you can rest if you please" She said as she visibly relaxed and her shoulders slumped a small bit.

Dusk smiled slightly at his words. " I think I can handle myself. " she answered, flicking an ear. " And I don't usually go running without Silence. She's usually with me. " She gave a little shrug, quickening her pace so that she followed a little bit away from his right flank. At his query, she dipped her head slightly, " I suppose the wolves past your borders are... afraid. Silence doesn't have a problem with going past borders and making friends, even though our alpha made it against his law, but... The other wolves -- we've heard nasty rumors about your pack. How cruel you can be, how ruthless.... It's frightening. Terrifying, actually. " She told him, sounding almost shy.

Fire listened to her with interest, though when he heard the part about Темный, he grimaced. " It must have been strange -- learning that you had powers so late in life. And to watch your brother die... That is unthinkable. Believe it or not, I .. I understand, what it's like to watch your sibling die. " He lay on his stomach, crossing his red - socked paws in front of himself as he continued. " My sister -- the one I spoke of -- died. Either she fully died, or she was very near death... I killed her -- on accident. I hadn't meant to.. I was so angry and upset -- and going blind -- after having watched hunters slaughter my family and take them for their pelts... " he took a breath, " She tried to calm me down -- to stop me, from burning down the forest.... And only ended up getting herself hurt -- she burned. Thankfully... Her body had the sense, even though she was dying, to heal itself.. I was very glad, to have a sister so skilled she could heal herself when she nearly died. " He smiled slightly, " We were six months old. Our four siblings and our parents, they were taken. I didn't learn that I had abilities until that night... And sometimes I wish I hadn't learned about them. " he allowed his bright orange eyes to close as he lay his head on his paws, curling his tail alongside himself.

"We are forbidden" Rave said softly as his ears pinned back against his skull. " You have the right to be afraid. We are all in our own way, something to be feared. All of us where loners, but Shadow Demon took us in, us "murders and evil loners" As you would say, and made us into a family. Yes, we are cruel and ruthless, it is a part of our past though. Most of us are slowly letting go of those ways. But I would never expect one of you to understand what thats like" Letting his voice drop to nearly a dead whisper he dug his claws into the earth. "Packs like yours rejected us. Because we are not normal. Insane, haunted, freaks, murders. All these things we have been called. But none of you ever thought that there might be a wolf underneath that exterior, that just wanted a friend. A family, a place to call home. So I guess you could say, wolves like you made us like this. Fear is only what you make of it, what you allow your mind to think. Next time, actually try to learn about something before fearing it" Releasing his claws from the earth he shook his head and tried to calm down his emotions. Glancing around, he winced. The souls that came around when he summoned them where back, and a large amount. "This is why your pack fears my sister and i. Because we are haunted. We cant help it, when our emotions go wild they appear or when we call them. Ive wasted time. lets go" growling he launched himself between the trees and took off at a full blown run. He hadnt met to snap at her like that, but something in her words just hit that spot in his mind, and it set him off and he just had to let it out.


"I must agree. These powers, they seemed like a curse ever since I found out about them. Nothing but misery death and destruction has followed me. Even this part of the forest senses it. The trees are slowly dying, the air is still, the animals are fleeing. I am a curse upon the earth" She said as she slowly looked upwards. "But I have a purpose, and that is to kill Темный the day he truly goes made. He and I are alike, twins. He has the same powers that I have. Because of that and the fact that we are twins, if one of us is to die before the other, the one left alive will be thrown into a madness like no other. He is Ying, I am Yang, Sane and Insane. For us to exist we both must live." Laying down near him, she let out a sigh. "It is the curse our parents gave us, well, they thought it was a blessing, to keep us alive and next to each other forever, but we consider it a curse. It causes sorrow, because of it I am not free to seek a mate because if I did, he would run Темный off, and then the bond would be broken. And my beloved Темный, I would love for him to find a mate but, who would want an insane wolf." She said a bit mournfully. Perking up the slightest bit she pawed at her necklace. "But I am sorry, for going off like that. It was impolite of me. I sometimes let my mind get the best of me." Watching flickers of light flash distantly in the forest she tilted her head. "I see ghosts. Which means your sister aggravated either Rave or Lights, but that also means she is almost here."

The green eyed fae grimaced at his words, shrinking back in shame. She hadn't meant to upset him at all, and she felt awful for making it seem as though she didn't accept it. Her gaze fell on the spirits around her, and she had, initially, jumped, but she relaxed when she realized that they wouldn't hurt her. " I'm sorry. " she said quietly after he finished speaking, but the instant he took off, she bolted after him. Her large paws hit the ground quietly, but her claws dug into the earth and launched her forth, though she struggled to keep up with the male ahead of herself. " I'm sorry, " she barked after him, " That other packs treat you as they do. " she missed a step, dropping her shoulder, and nearly causing herself to fall, but she forced herself to straighten out. " I didn't mean to upset you, " she said, feeling the pain in her shoulder where the branch of a small bush had scratched her, causing her to bleed, even if slightly. She fell silent, not wanting to say anything that could possibly upset him even more.

Fire didn't say a thing as the alpha spoke to him, ears trained on her as she told her story. That truly was a good question -- who would want an insane wolf? Now, Fire wasn't sure he would, but he wouldn't mind a misfit. He had his heart set on someone, but as far as he knew, Dusk was as free as a bird. He could hear the sound of her pawing at the necklace, but he didn't comment, only saying, " It's fine. Stresses don't feel as stressful or as heavy if you talk about them. " He lifted his head at her next words, glad that his sister was near, but wondering what it was she had said to upset whichever wolf found her, or rather, whichever wolf she was with. He turned his head back toward her, and nudged her in the neck with his nose, " I'm certain that you'll both find a wolf who won't try to chase either of you off. There will be someone who understands. " he said, flicking an ear, " Most think that a blind wolf like myself would be left for dead. So far, I haven't, and we've found that keeping me around is useful. "

"But your perfectly sane." She said softly. "Thats where we differ. Your powers are considered good. But enough, They are here" Looking up she watched as Rave burst into the clearing, his chest heaving and it looked as if he had literally seen a ghost "Rave" She called as she looked over him. "Come here" Slowly standing up, she met him halfway through the clearing and gently nuzzled his neck, it was her way of calming him. "I see you let yourself be a bit rude. Your friend is not exactly in the best condition to be running" she said as she pawed at Raves shoulder. "She is limping."

Turning around faster then he thought possible, Rave watched Dusk, and what his alpha had said was true. She was limping. Lowering his head and letting out a soft whine his ears fell. "Im sorry. Due to my lack of control I have caused you to become injured." Pawing the ground, he almost felt like a pup being scolded. "If you will wait here, I will get our healer to see to it." lifting his head a big, he tucked his tail and his ears where still dropped. "I didnt mean to take off like that. It was rude and inconsiderate. You where only telling me the truth"

Dusk had slowed when they came to the clearing, having not really noticed her limp until she started walking rather than running. She glanced over at Rave, noting his whine. " It's.. It's fine. " she answered. " It wasn't my place to speak to you of it, you had every right to be upset. " she turned her gaze to her brother as he stood and padded toward her, his paws dragging slightly on the ground, clearly to guide himself. Fire walked around her, coming up on her uninjured side and leaning slightly into her, the scarlet fur in his pelt standing out starkly against her own grayscale pelt. Fire's ear flickered toward Rave, and though he wasn't exactly pleased his sister was now limping, and there was a small quirk of his lip, displaying his displeasure, though there was no hostility in the action. " Dusk, you should have it looked at. " Dusk glowered at her brother, and though he could feel her gaze on him, he didn't pay any mind to it, merely flicking an ear at her. " She would be honored to have your healer be sure she's alright. " He answered, despite the low growl that he received from his sister. Dusk put as little weight on her injured leg, leaning back into her brother, despite the fact that he was answering for her, even though she was ranked much higher than him.
