{I'm also going to change Ravenheart's name to just Raven.}
The dark grey tom shook his fur and stepped between the burnt twigs scattering the landscape. He didn't know where he was going, but it was somewhere and not here. A twig snapped in front of him and he dropped immediately into a hunting crouch. There was a plump mouse right in front of him. How could he could have been so foolish? The mouse sniffed around the ground, searching for nuts or that sort of thing. Raven then pounced, but something behind him must have scared it away and he snorted in disgust as the mouse darted away. He whipped around and found himself looking at a young pale orange tabby she-cat {Lightpaw} and she stared back at him.

Raccoonstrike blinked open his eyes. The temporary den of the medicine cats swam into light before him, and he was confused for a moment as to why he was here. Where was FlameClan's warriors' den? Why was it so light and grassy here? What was--then the memories rushed back, and he let out a sighing breath. The jolt of the remembering sent a sick feeling to his stomach, and he again thought of his brother Lynxbound, now a member of StarClan. It wouldn't do to dwell on it, though. He sighed softly and lifted his head. The slight twinge of pain from his side made him remember the battle with the eagle. What a day it had been.
The young tom flicked his ears. "Well, I don't feel like working myself up." Cedarpaw commented lightly, swishing his tail as a soft breeze rushed past. The wind ruffled his pelt and made him feel full of energy. He was still unsure as to why this loner was so into discussing the code, when she herself didn't follow it. It puzzled him, but didn't make him angry. "Alright, so it is our camp for right now. But this really isn't our territory. And yes we are here, but we will move on. We didn't want to move on when we lived in the forest as three Clans, because we saw that as our homes. That's not how we view this grassland. It's not an important place, for any of us. Merely a refuge for the time being." He meowed, taking a slow breath as he paused. "And I'm just an apprentice. Challenge a warrior if you must, but don't blame the Clan for my actions of not defending this place."

Lightpaw pushed through the grass, hoping the herbs she'd found were useful and not just bitter tasting plants. She looked up, and was shocked to see a dark grey tom standing right in front of her. She jumped, dropping her mouthful of herbs and staring at him with wide eyes. He didn't smell like a clan cat; was he a rogue? A loner? Did he live here? Had he been following them? The questions ran quickly through her head. "Who are you?" she asked instead, narrowing her eyes. The small apprentice stood tall, but still had to look up at him.
