"Really? No she-cat really fancies me." He slowly leaned in and licked her cheek, staying there for a few prolonged moments. Finally, he pulled back and met her gaze again. "I never want to leave!" He purred with satisfaction.

Hollycloud doesn't say anything, just gives a soft, mournful mew. She gives the little kit a gentle lick on the head. She then looks at the other kitten, a little tom. She gives him a small smile and licks the top of his head as well. The tom seems to be full of life already, and gives a small meow as if in protest.

"They both need names you now."

She purrs."Well you don't have to go,do you?"

TimberKit shook her head. "My mom said not to go into any of the dens." She mewed.

"Unfortunately, I have to go home sooner or later. How about later?" He lay down and gently knocked her legs out from under her.

"I know," Hollycloud sighs. "The little she-kit will be Cinderkit, and the tom will be Duskkit."

She seems sad. "I wish they had a father to look out for them."

She purrs loudly."Yeah,much later."

She looks at her."Don't worry,you'll find the right tom soon."

"What if we get caught?" TimberKit asked, not moving from her spot yet.

"Then you can blame it on me,it was my idea."

Hollycloud smiles at her kits, more of a bittersweet movement than anything. "I suppose."
