hearing his mate, Dragonheart leaves Soulstar's den and races for the nursery. When he gets there, he asks, "Lightningstorm, what's wrong?"

Hawktalon picked up his own pile and began to go back towards camp.

Wishkit picked up her small pile and followed after the other two.

Lightningstorm was panting heavily, "The kits...I think they are coming."

Miraclekit stopped. "We'll come back to get raspberry leaves,'' she then continued walking.

Soulstar let his deputy leave, and bound towards Swanfeather. "The kits are coming!"

Lightningstorms blue eyes were terrified. She limped back to her nest and laid down. Look ing at dragonheart she whimper once more.

Dragonheart stayed near Lightningstorm. "I'm here for you, Lightningstorm," he said. He would never leave her at her time of need.

Swanfather looked up at Soulstar. She gave a brisk nod then went to the back of her cave to find the herbs she would need. After collecting the necessary herbs, she raced for the nursery. "I'm here, Lightningstorm," Swanfeather said, setting her supplies next to the nest.

Lightningstorm mewed, "Thanks," to Dragonheart and nodded to Swanfeather gritting her teeth. She was in quite a bit of pain.

Soulstar watched his medicine cat race away, and frowned. The patrol was supposed to be back by now. And so was Hummingpaw.

Stormfire walked into camp dragging the squirrel she had caught and several voles. She went and deposited them at the FKP

Dragonheart nodded, moving out of Swanfeather's way. He moved behind his mate.

Swanfeather laid her paws on Lightningstorm's belly. "There are going to be four kits. I hope you are ready, Lightningstorm," she mewed as she rubbed the she-cat's belly.

(If I remember correctly, there are going to be four kits. Two toms and two she-kits. Destiny and in each get a Tom and a she-kit. We have yet to pick names.)

Lightningstorm's eyes grew wide, "I don't have a choice so...lets just get this over with." she flinched when Swanfeather;s paw touched her stomach. (fade...)
