Miraclekit changed back. "Please?"


Wolfpaw looked around, and decided he should go hunting. He shapeshifted into a dog, and smiled, wagging his tail. He walked towards the exit, then changed his mind and decided to go Swanfeather's den to see if he could help her. He reached the den, and closed his eyes to shapeshift.

But nothing happened.
Wolfpaw's nostrils flared as he tried again and again. He continued trying, each bit of effort becoming more and more desperate. "Swanfeather!" He yelped, crouching to the ground.

Swanfeather looked up at Wolfpaw. "ohhh... Every cat is losing their powers one by one," she said to herself. She only knew this because it was a natural thing she had.

"No," Hawktalon said as he walked at a kit's pace towards the Marigold patch.

[Kornelia]

Miraclekit nodded. "Okay, sorry." She followed Hawktalon, watching if her sister was following.

Wolfpaw got to his paws. "Why can't I get out?!"

Snapping back, Swanfeather looked Wolfpaw in the eyes. "I can't say exactly why, Wolfpaw. But I think you may be trapped in that form for a long time."

Hawktalon nodded as he stepped into the clearing where Marigold grew.

Miraclekit stepped in as well. "They're pretty," she meowed. She stepped forward, beginning to bite off the plant, and make a pile. "Might as well," she bit another, "take the whole thing," she dropped another, "We won't come back anyways."


Wolf paw frowned, stepping back. "What?"

"I promise you I am not lying, Wolfpaw," Swanfeather meowed, frowning.

"Yes," Hawktalon agreed as he added to the pile.

Wishkit did the same. She had kept silent throughout the trip, wanting to keep track of their voices so she didn't lose them.

Miraclekit bit off the last piece of the plant. She separated piles; two tiny pile, and a large on. "Here." She pushed the tiny one towards her sister, and the large one to Hawktalon. "Let's go." She opened her mouth wide, talking the pile of marigold.

Wolf paw brisled, and turned, running into the forest.

Lightningstorm started to feel pains. She qhined loudly and started to pant.
