"Hemlocktail," Flinteyes hisses into the tom's ear. "Hemlocktail! Wake up!"
The trans tom grumbles a complaint as he opens one eye. "Flinteyes, can't it wait?" he complains.
"Just come on." The grey tom sounds amused.
"Fine," the black tom sighs as he gets to his paws.
In an unusual show of affection, Flinteyes entwines his tail with Hemlocktail's. "It's really nice tonight," the grey tom murmurs.
"Yeah, I guess so," Hemlocktail agrees as they start walking from camp.
"Why do you want to keep this secret?" Flinteyes doesn't sound accusing, just curious.
Hemlocktail looks a little nervous. "Well, just... I mean, you know me. I don't like attention."
Flinteyes purrs, sounding amused. "You're so cute when you're flustered".
Hemlocktail, if it were possible for cats to do so, blushes. "Flinteyes..."
"It's just us," the grey tom says, gently nudging him.
They arrive at the falls and Flinteyes sits. After a moment, Hemlocktail follows his example. "I really think we should tell them," the grey tom mews. "I mean, we can't hide it forever. They'll find out eventually."
"I guess so," Hemlocktail finally meows. "How about tomorrow?"
Flinteyes rubs his head against Hemlocktail's. "Tomorrow would be perfect," he purrs.

"How adorable," a voice coos behind them.
The two freeze, feeling a little awkward as they turn to see a cat there who they'd been unaware had been following them. "Oh, uh.. Hey," Flinteyes says awkwardly.
"Who would've thought anyone would have come to love the trans boy?" the cat mews as they wind around Hemlocktail. "Not that you're not lovable." Their voice drips with sarcasm.
"Leave him alone," Flinteyes says, though he can't find the will to move. Not yet.
The cat turns their eyes to him, glinting in the moonlight and full of hate. "I wanted a mate once. I wanted a happy life. That flood from greenleaf stole my dreams away," they hiss.
"L-Leafheart's death wasn't our fault," Hemlocktail stutters.
The cold, hate-filled eyes whip to him. "It's everyone's fault," they snarl. "No one went after him to save him. No one but me. And what did you all do? You stood there and watched. And right when I would have saved him..."
Flinteyes catches a glint off the cat's claws. "Hemlocktail, watch out!" the grey tom yowls as he barrels in front of him to block the savage slash that would have gotten the black tom in the throat. The swipe instead slices down Flinteyes' stomach and he convulses as he hits the ground, eyes wide.
"Flinteyes!" Hemlocktail's eyes are wide, the tom distressed.
The killer, with a swift kick, knocks the grey tom's body into the river. "Oh, don't worry," they coo as they turn to Hemlocktail, who is shaking in terror as he watches the cat who just killed his lover. "You were only an apprentice. I'll give you the mercy of joining him!"
The cat barrels right into Hemlocktail and sends him tumbling into the river and over the falls, paws flailing as he tries rescuing himself.
The killer watches to make sure the black tom is dead before washing their paws in the river and heading back to camp, mind set on murder.

Be careful, RiverClan! A hell bent killer is on the loose and they just took out the first pair!

[Donut Warrior]

Sorrelwish yawned and stretched in the nursery, her swollen belly sagging in her nest. She couldn't wait till her kits came. The queen imagined a small grey tabby, almost a perfect replica of herself.
Sorrelwish stood up and headed for the nursery entrance, ready to fetch herself a fish, or a water vole maybe. licking her lips, the grey tabby bent down and picked out a small plump fish and sat down near the nursery to eat it.

The tom awoke, his hazel green eyes opening and narrowing in the dark. He saw that most of the other warriors were still sleeping, yet he sat up and stretched anyways. Standing up, he noticed that two of the nests were empty. Hemlocktail's and Flinteye's. He figured that was odd, because no one usually got up around the time he did. Limping out of the den quietly, attempting not to wake anyone, he looked around to see if they were on guard duty or sneaking in a fish or two. When he realized the camp was empty, apart from Sorrelwish, he felt worried.

Peeking his head into the warriors den, he looked for Batfang. As he saw the sleeping deputy he hissed out "Batfang, wake up. Something's not right."

Minnowpaw let out a mew as he woke up. The tom stretched and yawned, shaking his pelt. He quickly washed his fur, and then went into the warriors den to search for his mentor.

Batfang had been dreaming about.. nothing actually, he wasn't talking about it. Blinking drowsily the tom looked towards the voice that had woken him. Seeing Robinfeather woke him up fully "Whats the problem?" he mumbled out attempting to act normal 'Great, even the waking world can't spare me..'
