Soulstar looked toward Dragonheart will an apologetic look in his eyes, then looked towards Stormfire. "Shadowfang and Twilightstorm will go with you.'' he leaped down the steps of highrock. He approached his mate, nuzzling her for a long moment. He looked towards the three shecats, and up at the sky. "Be back before sun-down.''

Shadowfang looked at Soulstar, then at the other two. "Come on.'' she said, and led them out of camp as Soulstar turned the other way to walk towards his deputy.

Stormfire nods at SOulstars instructions and runs out into the forest. She climbs a tree hoping to find a birds nest or a squirrel.

Twilightstorm stood up on her paws. Before she left, she licked Wishkit then Miraclekit before she left the cave opening. She bounded after the other two and into the forest. She went straight towards the lake, knowing there would be water moles there.

Bluepaw, having forgotten about Soulstar and the rest of the Clan, laid his head down on his blacks paws and looked over at the lake.

Hummingpaw had stayed at the edge of the group, worried. "Where's Bluepaw?" he asked, worried his brother didn't know anything about what was coming.

Dragonheart was going towards the nursery for Lightningstorm when he sensed Soulstar coming towards. The tom was coming from his blind side, though he knew he was there.

Lightningstorm was curled up grooming her fur. She couldn't reach her back anymore. The Shecat was very scared, her ears laid flat against her head.

Badgerkit whined when his mother licked the other two kits and not him. His tail drooped to the ground and he watched her leave with a sad look.

Stormfire caught a fat squirrel. she buried it and went looking for more prey

Twilightstorm would have done the same for Badgerkit, but he wasn't within her reach when she was doing so. With silent paws, she walked along the edge of the lake, looking for the scent of a water mole.

Shadowfang leaped, catching a plump robin.

"Go with them, Hummingpaw, find Bluepaw and Ghostfang.'' Soulstar said, then looked at his deputy. "Would you like to talk now, or later?''

Dragonheart sighed. "Now would be better than never," he replied.

Hummingpaw gave a silent nod then darted out of camp, already looking for Bluepaw's scent.

Badgerkit went over to his sisters, "Im bored. Wanna play?"

Lightningstorm closed her blue eyes and waited for sleep to come but she was too worried. She stood and rearranged her nest and started pacing the nursery.

Stormfire went over to shadowfang and whispered, "Theres a rabbit up ahead. Want to help me catch it?"

Wishkit looked towards her brother. "Uh, sure. What did you have in mind, brother?"

Hummingpaw caught Ghostfang's scent first. He followed the scent trail, hoping to find Ghostfang.

Miraclekit looked at her sister. "We don't know that for sure.'' she looked at Badgerkit. "This isn't a time for playing!" she snapped, getting to her paws. "Our clan is in danger, and we have to help!" she growled momentarily, then walked towards the medicine cat's den.

Shadowfang nodded. "You chase, I catch.'' she replied, disappearing from view.

Soulstar nodded. "Come to my den.''

Ghostfang caught a rabbit, and was about to bury it.
