After Rosekit joined them Darkmoon shook his head, confusing etched into his face "I just woke up when I herd her yowling like this.." looking over he chose to call the apprentices out, perhaps they know what had caused Lillykit to act like this.

Lillykit took a deep breathe. "I wanted to see if they wanted to play, Featherpaw usually does, but she's gone," she answered Darkmoon, shaking.

Swiftfoot woke, wondering what all the commotion was about. He cursed himself, realizing that he had slept in. Instead of waking up the warriors, he decided to go outside. He saw Darkmoon with Rosekit and Lillykit, and overheard Lillykit say that Featherpaw was gone. This was bad news. Featherpaw was an apprentice. This wasn't anything at all like Snowberry's situation. Or was it...? He stiffened with fear as he realized that they might not have exiled the true killer. It hadn't been Owlclaw, wherever he was now. He shook himself, attempting to dispell the fear, and padded over to Darkmoon.

"Darkmoon," he said, "will you stay with the kits? I will organize some patrols. We might have been wrong..." He let the sentence trail, not wanting to frighten the kits more than necessary.

A sickening feeling in his stomach the moment the Turkish Van awoke,
ears pricked, the tom rose to his paws. Tail swishing over the ground
at the yowls of Lilykit, he padded over to the young she-kit, a small
sprig of lavender in his jaws. He gave a curt nod to Swiftfoot, briefly
hearing what the black-and-white tom had to say, dropping the soft
lavender flower at the kit's paws, trying to clam her. "Just keep this
with you for a while until you calm down, alright Lilykit?" he asked in
a soothing tone, head tilted slightly. "And stay with Darkmoon, as
Swiftfoot said. I'll get you some prey if you'd like.."

Swiftfoot nodded in thanks and padded back into the warriors' den. "Alright," he said loudly to wake everyone up. "Featherpaw's missing and I want a patrol to go look for her. Snaketooth, and Littlesneeze will go." He repeated the message in the hopes that they would wake up and go. Otherwise, he'd go look for himself, safety or no safety.
