The vet working on Raven finally finished and carried him over to some cages, then put him in to a big cage and locked it. Raven was still under anesthetic, but he would come to soon.

Yara shifted his attention to his son, but stayed back so they could work. His vision went blurry, his legs buckled and he fell to the ground in agony. What was happening to him? Surely it wasn't time yet.

Luke was sedated and quickly worked on. Eternity took the bullet out of his back and stitched up the wound in his belly, then looked at his injured paw. The bone was clearly visible in the wound and it had been badly broken. She cleaned the wound with an antiseptic and covered it with a bandage, then applied an ice pack to it and gave him a painkiller shot. "That's all I can do for-" She stopped when she saw Yara. "You poor thing..." Eternity carefully picked him up and put him where Raven had been treated.

The tiny puppy tripped and fell, leaving him wide open for the beast to grab. A black shape flew out of nowhere and brought the beast to it's scaly knees. The wolf turned around. It was Rai.

Merr snarled at both Rai and the creature, baring his fangs. "Oi, kid... Come here."

"Thanks mister!" the puppy yipped, scrambling over to Merr. Rai had changed during his time in the council's world. He had become braver than he had in life. His wounds had healed. He was missing a front leg at the knee and a scar scretched from the top of his head across his right eye.

Merr's body was also covered in scars, more than Rai posessed, but then again, he was always putting himself into danger. "Oi, mister... Yeah you." He blinked at Rai, furrowing his brow. "Need some help with that?"

Rai smiled. "That would be helpful. It's not like I can defeat this thing alone," He chuckled, red eyes glimmering.

Merr smirked at him, nodding. "Yeah... It would be a bit difficult, unless you're my brother. Nothing ever seems to kill him except for the injuries afterwards. He is so bloody lucky." He shrugged, frowning.

Raven whined quietly as he became conscious again, looking around blankly. "Shiva? Shiva?!" He cried, starting to panic. He headbutted the cage door over and over until it finally opened, then stumbled out and collapsed on the ground, panting hard.
