Lilyfoot

"Oh, Spirit was my mate, until he died of poisoning. I think of him lots now, and I miss him." She looked away, looking at the kits who had opened their eyes,only Dustkit, and just then Owlkit reveals his yellow eyes, and she looks at him, smiling.

Dustkit

Dustkit looked at the medicine cat with his piercing green eyes. He flicked his tiny but bushy tail, and smiled a little at the medicine cat, and he meowed.

Owlkit

Owlkit opens his eyes, revealing pretty yellow circles. He blinks, and looks at his mother, Lilyfoot. He cuddles closer to her as if he is afraid of the world around him.

Sootkit

Sootkit hears a meow, and his amber eyes dart around, looking for someone. "Mothe-er?" He wails, not being near her. He stumbles over to Lilyfoot and the three kits start to feed.

Duskbreeze
Staring at the medicine cat den, he let out a loud, rumbling purr. More kits are a blessing from StarClan; they make the Clan strong; well, stronger than it was before. "Well someone seems to be happy!" A voice meowed from behind, startling Duskbreeze. "Wha? Oh.. Hey, Ripplefur," He mewed, his purr fading. "Did you need something?" The tom shook his head. "Not really; it's just that you never seem to be this happy, and if you are, you never show it," he teased. Duskbreeze dismissed Ripplefur's comment and got to his paws, starting toward the medicine cat den. He poked his head in and looked down at Lilyfoot and her three kits. "Do you want Ripplefur and I to go hunt something for you?" He said in a quiet meow, addressing all of the cats in there. (Parrotstar, Lilyfoot, Rosethorn, etc;)

Lilyfoot

The queen smiled and purred, "That would be nice, thank you." She looked at her kits, all of them had opened their eyes.

Dustkit

"Ri-Ripplefur?" He meowed, and fed on Lilyfoot.

Owlkit

Owlkit's ear twitched, and he snuggle against Lilyfoot, and fed on her hungrily, and he was happy.

Sootkit

Sootkit fed on Lilyfoot, and looked at Duskbreeze, and smiled. He flicked his tail and meowed something.

She watched the kits in the clearing, thinking about how big they were getting.The older kits were probably ready to be apprenticed, considering how old they were when Lilyfoot found out she was expecting. Her own kits and Fatalkit would be old enough as well in a moon or two probably. She sighed and frowned slightly before shaking it off,"No kit can stay a kit forever."She reminded herself quietly. She wondered what she would do with herself once they're were no more kits for her to care for, usually a queen would go back to being a warrior but she didn't really want that.I'll deal with that the day they're apprenticed.She thought, watching them play.

Vinekit glanced curiously at the medicine cat's den and wondered when Lilyfoot and the new kits were going to move into the nursery.She turned to watch her play-fighting littermates, momentarily distracted as wondered who would win.

-Lionkit-

Lionkit tackled Sandkit with a playful growl, and batted playfully at her.All the while trying to dodge her swiping and kicking paw, a feat he failed at numerous times.

-Sandkit-

Sandkit smiled victoriously as she finally managed to kick her brother off her so that she could in turn roll back onto her paws and pounce playfully at him. She just managed to land on him, before he started batting playfully at her again, forcing her to leap off him before swiping a paw playfully at his ears.

Lilyfoot

The queen thought she and her kits could move into the nursery, as it was a while since her kitting, so she got up, and picked up all three balls of fur up at once, as they were quite small. She sat down in the nursery, smiling at the playing kits, and then she smiled at Softgaze. Soon my kits will be playing like that. She thought.

Dustkit

Dustkit yelped when Lilyfoot lifted him in the air, but soon loved the softness of mossy nests. He looked at playing kits and meowed. He purred, and started to feed as the rest of the kits did too.

Owlkit

Owlkit liked the breeze flow across his pelt as soon as he was picked up, but wailed anyway. He watched his other littermates, and smiled at the other playing kits. He liked the softness of the moss, and started to feed as the rest of the kits did too.

Sootkit

Sootkit didn't wail or yelp, he loved his journey to the nursery. His eyes darted to the playing kits, and he thought, That'll be me and my littermates one day. He looked at Softgaze with his soft amber eyes, and started to feed as the rest of the kits did too.

Softgaze smiled warmly at Lilyfoot and her kits as they moved into the nursery, smiling softly she waited a moment before padding into the nursery herself. Mindful of the kits she was keeping an eye on, she stayed near the nursery entrance and looked at Lilyfoot."All settled in?"She asked her new den mate kindly, her mismatched gaze glowing with happiness for her friend.

Duskbreeze
The tom gave Sootkit a happy sounding noise and a gentle nuzzle before turning back to Lilyfoot. "I'll be back with some prey soon, Lilyfoot," Duskbreeze meowed over his shoulder, padding quickly toward Ripplefur. "You and I are going hunting for Lilyfoot," He mewed, not waiting for a reply. Flicking Ripplefur's shoulder, he headed toward the camp entrance. "Oh, al-alright," Ripplefur called after Duskbreeze, catching up with him quickly. -tiny time skip because I don't wanna ramble on about hunting, lol- The two met each other back at the camp entrance; Duskbreeze with a sparrow and two mice, and Ripplefur with a pawful of minnows and a water vole. Padding through the camp entrance, they both slipped into the den and placed the prey down quietly, not trying to disturb the kits. "You can have your pick from that," Duskbreeze mewed, his voice hushed. "What you don't want can go to Softgaze and her kits. And, of course, if they don't want it, the rest can go to the freshkill pile." Ripplefur stepped up beside Duskbreeze and rested his gaze on the three kits, a smile appearing on his muzzle. "Congratulations, Lilyfoot."

"I might have to steal three of those yummy looking minnows." Rosethorn meowed, smiling mischeiviously.

Lilyfoot nodded, eating a mouse. She smiled, "Thank you." She looked at her kits. "Take all you want Rosethorn." She smiled.

Dustkit

The kit meowed something happily, his green eyes darting around curiously, and they landed on Rosethorn.

Owlkit

Owlkit smiled at the playing kits, wanting to do that too, and he looked at Lilyfoot curiously.

Sootkit

Sootkit looked at Softgaze, and he flicked his tail happily.
