Emeraldsky cocked her head, and sniffed the air around the she-cat that had come face to face with her. Kittypet. She stepped back, almost dropping her herbs. Then she noticed that this she-cat had no claws, but she wondered how sharp her teeth were. "U-Umm... Y-yes," she replied with a stutter, her ears flattening. Emeraldsky wasn't much of a fighter, and hoped that this kittypet was nice. She smelled a hint of catmint on the kittypet, and her ears perked up. "Do you have catmint in your twoleg gardens?" she asked, her eyes sparkling. She had a small amount, and thought this was chance to get more.

"I think I noticed Emeraldsky leave camp," She murmured, stretching her back to exercise her injured tailbone. "Maybe we should wait for her in the Medicine Den." Larkpaw blinked soft yellow eyes at Thrushpaw.

"No. Nothing's the matter," he said, smiling brightly. "And it's okay that you stepped on my paw. Mistakes happen." Lionlight stepped closer to Swanfoot, so he was almost a fox-length away. He stared into Swanfoot's beautiful blue eyes. If he had to pick one thing that was exceptionally stunning about her, it would have to be her eyes.

Pepper had to restrain herself from smirking. This cat seems a bit jumpy, she thought, ears pricked as the she-cat talked. "By catmint you mean catnip, right?" She asked. "Back at my neighbourhood, we call it catnip. But you live in the wild... so..." Pepper's words dragged off. She had to know if her thoughts were correct, before she went blabbering on.

The question struck a nerve in Lightningpaw. "A warrior. I mean..," he looked up. "At first u wanted to be a medicine cat, learning to share tongues with Starclan....Healing cats, being held high in the clan... It all sounded wonderful to me. But obviously, if i were meant to be a medicine cat, I would already be the apprentice. So now I will be the best warrior I can." He walked next to his mentor, tail drooping as he spoke.

Rowanlog looked over at his apprentice, smiling sympathetically. "Emeraldsky hasn't chosen an apprentice yet," he replied quietly, personally not wanting to have to give up on training Lightninpaw. "You still might have a chance." He flicked his nicked ear, sending drops of rain the had clung to it's thin fur flying. He felt mud squishing beneath his paws, and icy cold rain sleek his thin pelt. I wonder who Emeraldsky is going to pick as an apprentice? He thought, flattening his ear to shield the insides of them from the rain.

(^^^ @boandprincess ~ could you create a mother for them, or PM the person who is owning the current queen? I don't want any motherless kits at the moment, sorry. If things don't work out for getting them a mother, I can just make a Queen who can be their mother if you want.)

Emeraldsky nodded, shuffling her paws nervously. "Y-yes. Catnip. I need some for my clan. You see, in Leaf-Bare and rarely Leaf-fall, there are these high fevers called Blackcough, whitecough, kittencough, and greencough. Greencough is the most known-- and dangerous --fever that most cats get in those seasons. Catnip is the best remedy for any of these fevers," she replied, feeling a smaller amount of fear of the kittypet.
