Bristlepelt watched the events unfold. He didn't feel at all threatened by the stand in deputy idea but it just made the trip sound a lot more permanet. Like they were going to be away for moons. That wouldn't happen, right?
He hesitated not sure what to say back to Sparrowcatcher until Thunderstorm spoke up. He was used to being insulted by the stupid cat but now he was talking bad about Sparrowcatcher. He wouldn't stand for that. "Shut up already! Look. I'm deputy. Volantstar chose me and she stands by me. And I like Sparrowcatcher. Thats something your just going to have to deal with," He snarled, more confident over his words then he had been earlier today.

Spottedkit sat down in front of the nursery and looked around camp.

OOC: is Sparrowcatcher and Bristlepelt a ring because rad man. That doesn't happen often and I'm just very happy about this x3

Crowflight speed his head towards the others but kept his silence. He didn't want to interrupt anything that was going down. It wasn't his place to interfere in other cats'personal affairs.

Volantstar rolled her eyes. "Bristlepelt and Sparrowcatcher can love each other if they want, nothing bad has happened to them because of it. I don't see a problem either, it's not hurting anyone." Volantstar looked at her son with her amber eyes. "Bristlepelt, if Thunderstorm gives you too much trouble, I want him exiled." She said, and after that she gave slight nod to Oakfang. "We have to get going now before Breezekit turns, we'll see you guys later." She mewed, and made her way out of the camp.

Ravenfrost hurried after her. "Are you ok?" He asked his leader kindly.

[Thistill]

Volantstar looked over at Ravenfrost. "Of course I'm okay." She mewed to the tom, "We need to get going though, before Breezekit turns. If he does we could be in trouble. I don't want to risk that, especially on this journey." Volantstar said to the tom, she shook her head slightly as thy began to pad on. "I just hope Thunderstorm doesn't cause too much trouble."

"His mind is clouded...one day he may see that things different. And when he does, we should just...try and move on," he says, though it greatly troubled him what the warrior had said. Crowflight, his brother, had never looked at a she-cat as must toms. If he was like Bristlepelt or Sparrowcatcher, he'd be ok with it. A cat can like whomever and whatever that they liked. No matter what gender. The black tom shook off the thoughts and tipped his forest green eyes up to the sky and, wincing at the sudden stillness in the kit. "But...I suppose you're right...Breezekit is...almost gone."

Oakfang padded beside the others, his gaze up to the sky. Why Starclan... why must an apprentice's and kit's life be taken by such a disease? His heart ached a bit. What if that was Foxpaw? What if it was my own kit's? He shook his head. Foxpaw was the closed thing he would have to a kit, and she was 11 moons now, no little kit anymore. His heart hurt even more. "I will do what i can to figure this out!" He meowed with a serious, determined look.

"He's been like this for a long time, I doubt he'll change his ways. He never does, no matter how much he says he is going to." Volantstar sighed at the thought, she was almost always annoyed and bitter with her brother now, it made her feel bad. They had been close at one point, though that was clearly gone. Volantstar looked over at Oakfang when he spoke, she had brought him along due to his determination. She knew with Foxpaw at any sort of risk his devotion would lead him to a stronger attempt at finding a cure. She twitched an ear an amusement before looking back at the river's direction they'd need to cross. Wasn't so much of a river as it was a fast-running stream that was long with shallow water. In some places it was deeper than others and was a good source for hunting fish. "I just don't want you guys worrying too much, we'll figure it out, alright?" She mewed to all of them, looking to Ravenfrost and then Oakfang.

Oakfang snapped out of his thoughts, looking over at Volantstar. He gave a nod, before looking ahead. He stopped when they got by the water, looking down to find the most shallow part. His thick fur sometimes had the best of him in times like this. After a good look, he put a paw forward, then another. He flicked his tail to show he found a good spot to go through.
