Alleypaw saw the light and began to push Copperpaw faster.

Copperpaw sped ahead of Alleypaw. "Hurry up!"

Alleypaw saw Copperpaw leave the entrance, and before he could leap out after him, the tunnel collapsed on top of him, "Copperpaw, help me!" he called before being consumed.

Copperpaw wailed, throwing himself back at the tunnel. He began to dig furiously. "Alleypaw! Alleypaw!" He screeched, dirt packing his claws.

Alleypaw felt the dirt fill his ears and mouth. He tried to call for help, but no words came out.

"Alleypaw!" He hissed again, louder, furiously scrapping away at the earth.

Alleypaw hoped Copperpaw had gone to get help.

Copperpaw pounded his paws angrily against the ground.Hang in there, Alleypaw! he shot off towards camp.

Heartclaw sat in camp, scratching his ears.

Copperpaw burst onto camp. "A tunnel collapsed on Alleypaw!" He yowled.

Foxcloud's ears flattened. "Where?"
