"Oh, I see." she wrinkled her muzzle. Tilting her head, she considered for a moment. "I'll be sure to remember that, thank you." Pigeontail rumbled, reclining back a little and gazing down at him. As much as she thought it might be safe, she wouldn't go against the rules and bring Shadowkit out of camp. She wrapped her tail around her paws and glanced outside. "Are you hungry? You haven't eat in a bit, have you?"

Heronleap's ears twitched as he felt the swish of fur from the she-cat's pelt as she moved. Their pelts brushed ever so slightly together, and he made no move to separate them. The touch of her tail over his back made him glance her way briefly. It was a start, he thought. He was quite happy to have had things turn out this way so suddenly. He rumbled quietly, laying his head down on his paws.

He twitched an ear and turned to face her, rumbling happily. He lifted his head and blinked at her for a moment, then swept his tail across the ground. "Care to go hunting with me again?" he murmured quietly, after a moment's thought. It was getting dark but he didn't mind a night hunt, if she wanted to come along. He wanted it to end better than the other one had.

He smiled at her and jumped up to his paws with a wave of his white tail. "Great." he rumbled warmly, and stepped forwards to head towards the camp entrance. His tail flicked along the she-cat's side as he trotted off, glancing back to wait for her approach.
