"That's okay, I just wanted to see how you handle your powers." She nuzzled him. "Want to see what I can do?" She asked.

"Nope, not right now at least." He stretched his neck over hers, protecting her from worldly dangers.

"Sure!" Frostbite said excitedly.

Rowan
Her body pulsing with newfound energy, Rowan dove into the water with a gently splash. Down, down down she swam, her powerful legs churning against the current. Once she knew she was deep enough that her scales would glow, she began to dance. She swayed and twirled in complicated patterns, her glowing scales glinting magestically. Her ballet became more and more complex, but that just made it more beautiful and entrancing.

Frostbite
Frostbite watched Rowan. "Woah!" Frostbite yelled, surprised. "I wish I was your species!"

"Don't saw that."She grinned, surfacing. "Seawings can't freeze water like you can. We just glow in the dark and breathe underwater." Rowan sat next to him. "Once you know your powers better, you'll understand."

Frostbite
"I don't even know my powers." Frostbite said. "All I know is how to sneeze frost and whatever I touch turns to ice. Ooh, I got an idea." Frostbite said excitedly and put his front paw/hand on the water. The water under his tiny paw/hand turned to ice. He launched himself onto the water and stood on the ice. "I can walk on water, but can't go in it. Apparently." Frostbite said.

Rowan
"See? That's cool!" She sniffed the ice, and licked it with her tongue curiously. "Uh oh..." She said, her tongue now stuck to the cold ice. "I'm stuck." She said with a lisp because she couldn't use her tongue right.

"Hahahahahaha!!!!" Frostbite laughed, and could not stop laughing. He laughed so hard he fell back but he didn't freeze the water and fell in. "Ahh!" he yelled, and stopped laughing.

"Frostbite!" She dove into the water after him, and grabbed him as he sank deeper. The second she touched him, the water around her froze, and they were one giant icicle sinking lower and lower. Panicking, her muscles strained against the ice when snap! The ice shattered. Rowan breathed in the water gratefully, then shot to the surface. Placing Frostbite on the shore, she looked at him worriedly. "Frostbite?!"
