Fleetpaw jumped when he heard a quiet rustling in the brush behind him. Swinging his head back and forth to try and find the Rouge, he continued to try and catch the scent. Why can't I move? It's like my body is frozen to the ground! He wailed mentally. Gulping, he blinked his dark ivy eyes, taking a nervous, shaky step back.

.Wolf.

Wolf let out a snarl before leaping out of the bush, unsheathed claws making a high-pitched screeching sound as one slid across a rock. His narrowed yellow eyes fixed on the Apprentice, and a menacing grin spread wide across his muzzle. "Well, well, well... What do we have here?" he meowed seductively, pacing around the young Tom as his claws flexed in and out. "A young Apprentice? Has Viperclan finally gone weak to the point of sending something like you out here alone?" His eyes danced with the lust of blood as his eyes began to scan over the Tom.

Fleetpaw flinched when the Rouge leapt out from the bushes and into his view. The hunger for bloodlust that danced in his eyes was intimidating; he was actually wondering how he hadn't turned tail and ran back to camp to warn the others. He'll kill me before I even move a paw. He grimaced, gulping. He took a deep breath and met the Tom's golden eyes, "What does it matter to you? You're not part of the Clan, why should I tell you of our affairs?"

.Wolf.

Wolf took a step forward, keeping his dark claws unsheathed; he could scent the fear wafting from this young Tom. "Why, I can kill you with a gruesome slice of my claw. Unless you prefer that, of course." His gaze drifted down towards his claws before they arose again, left front paw slightly above the ground.

A paralyzing fear branched throughout his body as the Rouge moved towards him with a raised paw. Fleetpaw gulped and he bristled his fur as his claws unsheathed, ready to defend himself. "I'm not going to join StarClan yet, I promise you that." he growled, but his voice still quavered. Where's Venomstar or Crowsong when you need them?

Wolf chuckled at the Tom's comment. "Are you sure about that, or do you want to place a bet?" His claws sheathed for a moment as he took one last step forward, unsheathing once again and putting his left front paw to Fleetpaw's flank. "I'll bet your life," the Tom hissed into his ear before stepping away, eyes narrowed once again; the prey was too weak for a true fight, and would be an easy kill. Of course, though, it'd still be a kill.

{Do you want me to make a quick little form so you have something to put into StarClan for later?}

Fleetpaw glared at the Rouge, his body shivering in both fear, and adrenaline for the fight, "Whether I die or not, the Clan will find out, and you will be killed for what you've done." he spat, baring his fangs in a loud hiss. Alright, StarClan, this would be a good time to do something.

Wolf chuckled before leaping over the young Tom, some of his claws raking low in hopes of at least scratching off a tuft of his pelt before landing back down, turning to face Fleetpaw once again with a blood curdling smile. "Now, it wouldn't be fun to finish you off, though! How about you call one of your Warrior friends; now that would be a challenge and much more exciting."

Fleetpaw winced in pain, but bit his tongue so he wouldn't yowl. He narrowed his dark ivy eyes, that hopeful gleam that had resided there was gone. He knew that he couldn't win this fight, but was he going to admit that? No. Of course not. He would seem even more weak in the eyes of the enemy. Crouching down into a pouncing position, he let a low growl rumble in his throat, "I don't need any help. I can take you on myself."

Wolf grinned towards the stubborn Apprentice before coming in for another attack, claws unsheathed. "I praise you for your courage and stubbornness, young one. Alas, though, that's what is going to get the best of you!" His yellow eyes trained upon Fleetpaw as he leaped into the air, unsheathed paws aiming at the flank.
