Personallity: Starch is a rather shy mouse, he likes to stay out of everyone's way to avoid trouble rather than be a social butterfly. He lacks intelligence, and his lack of intelligence had put him in hard situations in which he barely excaped.

Looks: Starch is a short furred rat, with silvery grey fur, and black beady eyes. His tail does not have a strand of fur on it, and neither do his hands.

Mutations: His fur glows at night, and he had become faster. Starch leaves a glowing white path due to mutations whenever he runs in darkness.
Strengths: He is quick and agile, so therefor he is hard to catch by predators.
Weakness: His lack of intelligence, definitely. The only reason he is still alive is because of his speed.

Starch fell smoothly on the grassy floor as a lab assistant threw him down. He had not known that he had been experimented on, thanks to his dumb little brain. He began to search for something to gnaw on, miraculously staying away from the big cats a few meters away from him. Starch could easily and swiftly escape if he had the brains, but of course, he didn't. He saw a wooden block that lay a few meters in front of him, and he quickly scurried over there, grasping the wood between his tiny hands. Starch began to gnaw on the edge of the wooden block, working down his teeth in the process.

The wooden block eventually got gnawed all apart, it took a while, but it became only a little small cube instead of a large brick.
Now bored again, Starch ran around the grass, looking for something else to keep him busy for now.

He didn't care anymore. He didn't even know who he was, the only name he knew was what the humans called him; 027. He walked carmly on a makeshift collar and lead as one of the humans lead him to the 'free zone' (he didn't think it was really that free though). He had given up fighting the humans ages ago, there was no point. Escape was impossible, he had tried to do it enough times to know. 027 knew when to give up. He may not of looked it, but the old canine was cleverer than his dull eyes gave away.

027 sighed as he was set 'free'. It was the same thing over and over and over again. Cage, experiments, 'free zone', cage, then it started all over again. There was rarely a change to his daily routine. He started to walked towards the small stream, another thing he did everyday. 027 enjoyed the stream, he liked to look at his reflection. He barely reconsided himself though, his pelt had strange markings on and he body had been twisted into different shapes. Now he thought about it, 027 could barely remember what he used to look like. It all felt so long ago. The chain around his leg jangled as he walked, and he was soon at the stream. He could see others on the other bank, and a black lioness in front of him. He didn't reconside them, but 027 didn't make any effort to know anyone so that wasn't suprising. Slowly, he dragged himself down the the stream and lapped up some of the cool water.

The black lioness perked her curved ears forward,hearing something approach. The predator lifted ehr head and blinked,her head slightly tilting. Her odd fur stood up,as oif trying to make herself look twice her abnormall size. "Who are you ?"She asked. Her voice,once sweet and quiet,was now loud,angry,and cold. She had come to Vibony Labs as a 5 month old cub. That had been about two years ago,and her adoptive mother-another lioness brought o Vibony Labs- was killed by the many experiments they did on her.
The black lioness was secretly planning her own escape,but she only had the beginning ideas planend out. She needed help- and lots of it. If she could make friends,or pretend friends,with as much of the experiments as she could,they would probably be able to pull it off.

027 ignored the voice, the lioness he saw before he guessed, and continued drinking for a second. Once he was finished he slowly turned his head to see her. He could see that her body had red markings dotted on it, and some other colours too, clearly now. He could see in her purple eyes that she didn't want him there, it was obvious if you looked properly. "I'm -" 027 looked down at the tag on his leg, to make sure he was getting it right, "I'm 027." He turned his whole body around now to face her, but his eyes didn't look in her direction. They were looking at a tree just to her left, to him it was just as interesting as the lioness (maybe more even). 027 knew that eye contact could be seen as agression in some experiments eyes too, and he didn't want to get into a fight. The lioness was bigger than him by far, and probably much stronger. 027 would loose even if they were evenly matched, he was old and didn't have the motivation to fight anymore.
