Flashstar opened his eyes and yawned. He lifted himself from his nest and walked to the den entrance. He stepped out and stretched his limbs. He walked toward the centre of the clearing and then sat down, licking his paws while his eyes looked around him.

Blossomlight looked through her herbs, she quietly began to resort them. Placing the daisy leaves on the ground she began to work on the other leaves that stored other herbs. Her tail lightly twitching as she thought about getting an apprentice.

Spiderpaw leaped out of the apprentice den, he looked at Flashstar with admiration before sitting down to give himself a quick lick. He looked around for his mentor; Tawnyfrost.

The four cats got back and saw LakeClan camp. They walked to the entrance and waited to be invited in.

Moonflower lay in the nursery. Her belly was larger then it had been a moon ago. She began to think about Brackentail and all the fun times they had had together. She had wanted to have kits for a long time but now, without Brackentail, it didn't seem right.

Flashstar finished cleaning his paws and looked a little more intently around the camp. He walked over to Gingersnap. "Where might I join in the patrols?" he asked her.
