"No no dear you are perfectly on time! I was the one running late this morning" he said and smiled kindly at her before opening the shop door so she could fit inside. "You see my sister, Cherry Ice, was supposed to help me open today but as you can see she is... not here" he said in a funny dramatic way putting on a little show for her.

the sister made their way to the city, ducking and weaving throughout the crowd, apologizing to anypony they might have bumped into. as they were traversing through town, a new shop caught their eye- it was a magic shop. opening day? well they might have to check it out on their way back from work- or whenever they took a break sometime during the day. they both made a mental note to return- after all, it was good to support local businesses.

eventually they arrived to their little duel shop- with calliope fumbling around with the keys, before eventually unlocking the door to their store. the young unicorn opened the door and kept it open for her sister before continuing to linger outside, setting up the tables before slinking back into the shop. she reached over and flipped the closed sign to open before retreating into her kitchen, making a little something for her and her sister for a quick breakfast- before getting a start in her work, quickly starting on some cupcake batter.

when they arrived at their shop, she quickly retreated upstairs to her shop, thanking her sister as she had brought a little something for her to quell her hunger until lunch. maybe that is when they should drop buy that little magic shop? something to think about- and maybe mention to their father when they return home. surely he'd be interested in something like that?...probably, probably not.

she smiled a little before opening up the balcony doors to let a little air and sun in this gloomy room. she decided to step out to refresh her brain- clearing the cobwebs out before returning back to her work area- moving across the floor to collect the cobwebs that were gathering in the corners of her shop- and that was when her little spider friend crawled out of her bag and out in the open- more than likely to spin another web. spider weaver greeted milton with a wave- and it waved back before disappearing somewhere in the room. she giggled a little before humming a tune as she got her loom set up for the day.

"oh!" she looked away and pawed gently at the ground, suddenly flustered. "well, i guess that makes things a little better - for me at least- but i am sure that buiness will pick up for you in no time-" she paused. maybe she shouldn't assume that about other pony's buisnesses. she smiled a little and thanked the...mare? maybe she shouldn't assume until she knew for sure. but for now she slinked into the shop, cringing at the lights. she adjusted her glasses, maybe this would be an appropriate place to continue use of sunglasses indoors. her nose twitched as she turned her head over towards the earth pony when they began to talk about their sister, laughing a little at the added dramatic flair to his sentence. "oh well, i'm sure you can get her back when it comes to closing?" of course she was joking, but hey, what knows. "kidding, of course, but I'm sure that your sister will come around...but as of now i'm your only customer it seems.." she blinked and looked around before turning her head back towards the earth pony.

she nodded matching his chuckle with a smile, "i mean, i wouldn't put it past them since its not...normally a breakfast item, but i beg to differ- its an interesting change." and its no differnet than eating a cold slice of pizza in the morning either. she blinked when they asked if she was a bat pony- a small smile appearing on her face, "yes I am! and it wasn't a rude question...i haven't seen much of my kind myself- other than canterlot and the mountains." she blinked as she somewhat reminisced on her old dwellings. she shook her head before continuing, "but concidering that i just moved here...who knows!" she then started to approach the counter, looking at the various flavors, carefully mulling over what combinations she could think of. but her attention snapped back to the earth pony, "well hopefully she'll turn up soon- from what i gather this city gets so busy all of a sudden, and its nearly impossible to get into places like these," she mumbled, her attention turned back to the flavors.

The black pointed stallion, shook his shorter black mane. his shorter black tail flicked, and black wings remained folded. The golden eyed stallion looked to his son, then looked around. He decided to head for the candy shop, though was sure it wasn’t quite open yet. Still, he headed for the shop. He glanced to his son, whom had decided to follow after him. He watched his son, and the two soon arrived to the candy shop. They sat down on the street outside, to wait for Fluffy Bubble to open her shop.

The darker marked gray male shook out his black mane. His black tail flicked, then purple eyes glanced to his father after a moment. The other looked to him then began to walk. He followed the other, and soon they had arrived to the candy shop and waited outside it.

Princess Ravenna- f- 50- Pegasus- Cutiemark: black raven- Camo is her father, her mother is elesewhere- Cameo is her brother (older brother but basically like twins)- crush: Silver Dagger- offspring- Tags: open

The silly and sweet but stubborn and strong willed gray mare was at her boutique. The beautiful shop had pastel colored walls, A counter or such, and dresses of course. The outside had one long glass window, and the door and sign. There was also an overhang above said door. The outside was colored dark red, and the overhang was dark green. The darker legged and marked female, also with red markings, watched her employees. A silver bay pony, a Unicorn, another pony, and a Pegasus. Rune Stone and Roan were at the counter thing. Water Splash checked the dresses with Jade eyes. The purple maned and tailed one smiled as she watched. She then turned purple eyes to the back, heading back there as she was making a new dress. She needed to get back to work.

The darker bluish, lighter marked one nodded as she looked at the stallion. The mare said “I guess you could say it’s a lot of ponies.” She then smiled and giggled as he talked about the cats. She looked at the two of them, and asked “What are their names? I’m thinking maybe I should get a cat or two…Oh, um…and my favorite place to go is either my aunt’s shop or the Koi gardens. The water is so soothing. They also have some beautiful fish in the pond there,” she finished off by saying.

The blush unicorn shook out his short pink, blue and green mane. His same colored also shorter tail flicked back and forth a couple times. Lighter/brighter blue eyes looked around his room, with the setup. The unicorn horn glinted as light hit it, and he smiled a bit then shook his head.

Daisy Petal- mare- 22- Earth pony- Cutiemark: three brown circles with a sprout in the middle one- parents, brother (28), Electric Charge (18), Butterfly Dance (12)- mate open- no offspring yet- Tags: Electric/ open (Butterfly could also tag)

The orangish brownish hooved and green accessoried (on her front legs) one looked around. The freckled, yellow mare let out a breath. Brownish eyes didn't see anyone else around right now, and she shook her head. The shades-of-green maned one sighed again. She'd started a communal garden, since she had plants at her own place. No one seemed quite interested yet. She just coming by here on her own. She looked up as she heard a sound, looking to see her younger brother was there.

The golden male with the white medium length spiky/messy mane shook his head. His white tail flicked back and forth gentle. It was also medium length, spiky/messy. Brownish hooves dug at the ground, hooves that resembled those of this sister. Speaking of his sister, he went to the garden she’d started. He found her there, of course, she loved plants so much. He made a small sound to let her know he was there. He blinked brownish eyes, and lifted one leg with a band that had a raindrop on it.

Blue Starlight- stallion- 24- Pegasus- cutiemark: three shooting stars with pinkish-purple or mauve tails- family are called Blue Streak and Starlight Sound- has aunts and uncles and cousins out there- mate open- no offspring- Tags

The blue male shook out his medium length messy looking mane. He flicked his medium length tail, both mane and tail having pink or pinkish-purple and yellow streaks. Said mane went down into his face. He sighed…and shook the darker blue man again. He pawed at the ground, before stopping. He lifted each darkened leg one at a time, then stretched his wings. His wings had the same darkened color, but to the tips of the feathers. He heard his mother…and rolled pinkish- purple or mauve eyes.

"oh is that so then at laest she'll," she the paused when the earth pony mentioned that their clothes would be covered up anyway with their aprons, which she stifled a laugh- but couldn't surpess a giggle, "I meaaaan its not a total loss then- at least she'll keep them clean." her eyes wandered back down to the counter, thinking for a moment, blinking. "well I was thinking of wildberry lavender with a scoop of vanilla," she then turned her attention back to him. "fair. how do you guys handle the colder seasons? there's probably a lot less hoof traffic considering... the cold compared to the other months."

she smiled. but her eyes went wide as he started to list off everything that they do during the colder months, but a lightbulb went off in her mind. "ooh. well i had an interesting idea- well that is if you want to use it or not- I’m not sure if its a good idea with other flavors of ice cream, but…” she thought for a moment as she got distracted by another flavor to try another time, but continued with her train of thought, ”what if you put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in some hot chocolate?” I mean there’s already the idea of frozen hot chocolate but that was different. ”but yes! I hope you do get your hooves on some cider… that would be a treat.” she then looked at the earth pony when he double checked with her. she put a hoof over her mouth and thought for a couple of minutes before nodding, removing her hoof, ”yeah! I’m sure, after all, her favorite is wildberry lavender.
