Buck nodded to the young she-cat, Zaeru, thinking for a moment. "Yes, you could definitely use the practice." He looked at the she-cats, noting that he had a big enough group for a nice hunting party. He craned his neck to look back into the cave at the waking cats. He noticed Oliver awake as well as his apprentice. "Oliver! Why don't you take your apprentice and some other cats with you to check out our borders. I want no scent of those Horizonclan rats at the border." He called to the other tom. He turned to Robin and Arian as well. "The five of us can go hunting for some extra prey and get some practice then." He added, trying to lift some of the tension between the two warriors. He was hoping this hunting trip would be a good bonding experience for some.

Meadowpaw looked at all who was joined up on the patrol at the moment, nodding. "Hey, how about we have a small competition?" She asked the other two apprentices, thinking for a moment of something interesting. "Like, uhhh... Oh! Whoever has the biggest catch will get extra feathers for their nest?" She offered, a bit of a mischievous grin on her face.

Honeyshade joined up with the patrol, greeting the others warmly before taking a good glance around at who was present. He wasn't particularly bothered by what response he would get, but it was always more pleasant to start group patrols off with a friendly disposition. Like usual, he was glad to be a part of the morning hunt; left to his own devices he would typically wander in to less desirable hunting grounds instead and end up alone rather than with a friend.

Tansy woke up a little later than most, opening her eyes that morning to an already busy and bustling clan. She wasn't all that eager to be awake just yet, and though she sat up and carefully curled her tail around her paws, she didn't plan to go anywhere.

Even after almost a year of this, Tansy wasn't as remotely used to waking up with so many cats as she thought she should have been. Though it brought her a sense of safety at night, she always felt rather odd in the mornings with the knowledge these cats had been awake before her while she slept, her guard down. Still, she supposed it couldn't be helped, and that it would provide more comfort in the long run.

Pigeon felt a rush of pride at Oliver's response, practically buzzing to get out of the camp and keep away the Horizonclan filth. Still, she forced herself to be still and await any response from other cats in the clan hoping to join the border patrol - it was an exciting experience in her eyes, after all, and she didn't want to rob someone else of the same opportunity.

He looked the cleaning, over to the cats gathering there "of course, the more those apprentices go on patrols the more they learn new things" he meowed his tail flicking as he listened to the she-cat "yeah we sure do...but did you organize the border patrol too? I mean we better keep our eyes on our borders for Wildclanners, who knows what those reckless things will get into their heads" he spoke up.

She eyed the gathering cats there, not being invited into that patrol, but it didn't bother her at all. Stretching she shook her pelt before looking over to the fresh-kill pile, seeing that there was already a cat wandering there "Good morning Snakestrike, the pile seems low as always in the mornings" she spoke up looking at the pile.

She looked at Meadowpaw and her brother, which seemed to be more interested in his mentor than the other apprentices there. She turned to the female apprentice "Sure, I don't mind about a hunting competition, it could be fun..." she said "doesn't it matter what feather the winner got to her nest?" she asked. She looked at Honeyshade "I thought you're not coming at all...so are we leaving or not?" she asked her eyes looking at the warriors.

He turned to look over to another apprentice showing up to then before looking at his sister "Hm, I see we're on the same patrol... this sure is big patrol?" he meowed flicking his ears. He looked over to his mentor "having this big hunting parol, could be awkward not to catch any prey" he meowed excitedly.

He was up and ready for the day, almost. He didn't know what to do though, there were no rules in this clan and every pretty much did whatever they wanted. Only the leader's word was to obey, other than that they pretty much caught their own prey to eat. Luckily for now they didn't have any pregnant she-cats or kits, other way it could be common sense for them who can catch something for them to eat.

He was bored, yawning he rolled in his nest, making him messier than it already was. His belly rose calmly as he turned his back and looked up, heavily sighing. He was bored but didn't know what he could be doing he didn't feel like going to hunt, but maybe that could be the best way to consume time and maybe his new clanmates could like it if he actually did bring something back for them to eat too.

She looked at the three cats there talking not really getting what was going on between the two warriors there. She flicked her ears as she listened to them "uh okay..." she meowed silently, her head turning to look at Oliver when the leader mentioned the warrior. She didn't really know the Pigeon very well, but she did want to know the younger she-cat better.

The excited young cat crouched at the entrance to his mentor's den, he saw the tom lying peacefully with a concentrated look on his face. When he sensed that he had gone unnoticed he pounced in hopes of surprising the tom.

Yarrowstare yawned and stretched groggily, trying to find the energy to get out of her nest and face the day. She found most of her days tended to be rather tedious and her clanmates to be rather irritating. She had never been the most popular cat in the clan, her ill-tempered demeanor made sure of that, so most of her days were spent in solitude. She didn't mind it, usually, but having no friends meant that much of her daily routine remained monotonous and unbroken. Eventually, Yarrowstare managed to find the energy to stand and she climbed out her nest and trotted wearily out into the clearing. She squinted and hissed quietly as the blaring morning sun hit her eyes. Her eyes have always been rather sensitive, but she found the sun was becoming more unbearable with each moon that passed. Once her eyes had adjusted, she scanned the clearing, noticing that she was up later than usual. Patrols had already been made and, as usual, she was passed up. Not that she minded much, she preferred to spend her mornings lounging. She strolled over to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a nice juicy field mouse, she preferred thrush but this would do just fine. After deciding on her meal, she settled down under the shade of a nearby rock and began to dig in.

Woody looked cheerfully around the clearing, taking in the scents and sights of the camp, allowing himself to drift into thought. After his two-leg died, Woody was forced to wander the wilderness a loner for many moons. He remembered the crippling loneliness he felt and how he lacked a sense of belonging, but Wildclan gave him something to live for again. He could start a new life in the forest with the rest of his clanmates who, much like him, were just looking for a place to belong. He was so excited to start his new life in Wildclan and he looked forward to making new friends. Woody shook his head, bringing him back into real-time. If he wanted to make new friends, he better stop staring into space like a weirdo. He scanned the clearing and noticed Tansy, the clans only elder, was still inside the elders den. He bounded over to the den and stuck his head inside. He saw that she seemed to be sitting in her nest, alone. He decided that he should probably ask to see if she wanted him to fetch her some fresh-kill. Still standing just outside the entrance, he meowed, "Good morning Tansy, I was just about to eat, would you like for me to fetch you some fresh-kill?

xxxxxAs she looked at the piles of burdock, an idea popped into her head and her eyes lit up. Brindlenose picked up a few of the roots and, holding them safely in her jaws, walked into the creek. Halfway across, she sank down into the water, making sure to drench all her fur and try to mask as much of her scent as possible, before fully crossing over onto Wildclan's side of the border. The pointed shecat placed the roots down neatly, then gave a nod in approval at what she'd done. May as well share the wealth. With such a healthy stock, it'd be a shame if they couldn't have a few. Brindlenose thought to herself. Hopefully their border patrol finds it easily. With a flick of her tail, she turned and made her way back through the creek onto Horizonclan territory to collect her herbs.

indentation After depositing the bundle of bad herds, the tom picked back up the oak leaf and started off again. Ember was on a mission, a mission to keep his clan healthy, it was a mission that never ended. He purred to himself as he padded aimlessly down the path, eyes snapping from place to place. Perking up as the tom caught sight of a few stocks of Horsetail, the tom set the oak leaf down, and then bit both stocks about a third of the way down from the top, leaving plenty of room for it to grow back and harvest once more. Setting the Horsetail back in the oak leaf, he picked the bundle back up and started off again, heading for the border they shared with Horizonclan. He hoped to be able to see or at least catch up with Brindlenose.

indentation The purr in her throat grew louder as she smiled at Buck, she nodded and mewed, "I'm down with that plan, Buck." Arian glanced at Zaeru, and nearly giggled at the seemingly nervous apprentice. Turning her gaze upwards the she-cat shivered before stretching her front and back legs, one at a time. After properly stretching the torbie returned to an upright position and turned her gaze back to Buck. "I'm ready when you guys are." She purred, a small half-smile on her maw.

indentation Shaking out his fur, the tom got to his feet. "Is everyone ready to go? We're burning sunlight, and I'd prefer to do some battle practice with Foxpaw before the day is over." He half asked, half demanded, as his pale gaze narrowed in on his fellow warriors and their apprentices. It was a rather large hunting patrol, something he found rather grating. Paleflight wasn't the most social cat around, or the nicest, but he was a hard worker and loyal, so he figured that most ignored his grouchiness. He turned his gaze to his apprentice, and nodded, "Yes, it may be a bit of a challenge." Starting, before pausing and giving the young tom an unnerving grin. "Consider this patrol an assessment of your hunting skills. Catch at least three pieces of prey without much or any trouble and I'll consider you up to warrior standards. Catch more than three and impress me later today with your battle skills and I'll see if I can't get Silentstar to make you a warrior a moon or so early. But if you disappoint me, and catch less than three, or catch three with a great amount of trouble, we'll be doubling down on hunting patrols."

indentation The dark-furred feline paused as they thought over their choices, mentally sighing the feline got to their paws after finishing their meal. Quickly spotting their apprentice they padded over to the seal point tom. "Good morning, Splashpaw." They greeted their apprentice cooly, "How would you like to go on a two cat border patrol?" They asked, ears twitching. Pale green eyes wandered camp for a moment, the hunting patrol was rather large and forced a large portion of cats to leave camp and leave so few behind. Grimacing at Cloudspot's mistake, they'd either have to wait until the hunting patrol returned, cut the patrol by two taking two cats in the hunting patrol with their border patrol, or just have a two cat border patrol. Honestly, Duskecho wasn't sure what option they favored.

Buck nodded to Arian, smiling. "Then let's head out!" He meowed excitedly, trotting away from the cave with his tail high. He weaved his way through the thick forest, keeping his nose up to check for any scents. He found a faint smell of squirrel, but wasn't sure if it was old or new. He looked towards the mollies with a grin. "Catching any smells? Or would you rather try your hand at some fishing? He questioned with a bit of mischief. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and swimming, being quite a master at it. He knew a lot of cats in the new clan were opposed to fish and water all together, but Buck could eat trout every day.

She thought, a bit of worry showing on her face. However, she sucked it down and tried to ignore the feeling until it disappeared. She started to follow the patrol out of camp, keeping close to her mentor, Hazelnut.
