Alright guys, we can officially begin! Just as a reminder, we will consider Raccoonpaw to be sick at the moment and so he's unable to perform his medicine cat duties. As for Cas's other characters, we will simply treat them as background characters. Now, for mentors to be assigned...
Raccoonpaw is apprenticed to Skyfall (obviously)
Graypaw is apprenticed to Squirrelclaw
Iciclepaw is apprenticed to Tigerfrost
Icepaw is apprenticed to Darkhound
Foxpaw is apprenticed to Briarstep
Slatepaw is apprenticed to Moonstone (I hope this is okay since Moonstone is only in early stages of pregnancy so I don't think she would've moved to the nursery just yet, and Slatepaw would have been apprenticed to her 2 moons prior)
If anybody has any qualms about this or I've missed anybody please let me know! Now without further ado, time to begin!

Palestar's jaws opened in a wide yawn, her tongue curling and her tail kinking over her back as she stretched each leg in turn. Early morning light filtered through the den and she lay in it for a moment, letting it warm her short pelt and make it appear even lighter than usual, before rising to her paws and heading outside. Her gaze traveled over camp, which was just beginning to come alive with the hustle and bustle of clan life as cats awoke and filed groggily out of their dens. She sat outside her own for a moment, wrapping her tail around her paws to observe who the first early risers were.
Tigerfrost had been up since before dawn, but had waited in the den until the first rays of sunlight seeped through to actually enter the camp clearing. He had been an early riser since his own apprentice days, when his mentor woke him up before even the first crack of dawn for training. Many moons later, the habit had never ceased and he had been drilling it into his own apprentice like his mentor did to him. He expected Iciclepaw to get up bright and early for training, and when she didn't, he had no qualms about shaking her awake himself. However, he would give her a chance before he resorted to such.
At least I actually wait until dawn to wake her up, he thought, unlike his old harsh mentor.
Firstrike tossed and turned in her sleep, snoring softly as she dreamed of hunting down a rabbit. It wasn't uncommon for her tail and paws to twitch during such dreams--or for her legs to kick out all of a sudden as her mind was focused on chasing the imaginary prey. Her nest was kept a bit farther from the others for this exact reason, although this particular morning it wasn't quite far enough, and her hind paw jabbed one of her denmates right in the mouth. (feel free to be the denmate firstrike hit

)
Graypaw was still curled up into a tight ball in his nest, fast asleep.
