Winterstar was in his den, looking out over the clan. He was on the edge, laying down. He could see the whole clan from here, and- he yawned. He hadn't gone out today- he didn't need to. Everything was going fine. Right?

the tom stopped next to the light colored tom, his nostrils flaring as he drew in the strange, unfamiliar scent; narrowing his eyes he lashed his tail, angry at the fact he couldnt identify it "'m not sure to be honest" Sunflight grumbled as he turned from the boarder "we should report it to Maplestar, she might have an idea about it" he grunted with a fluck of an ear.

once finished with her meal the fluffy she-cat began to groom her paws, once finished she rose into a sitting position as she scanned the camp clearing for her mentor, nervous to start her training for the day.

a soft chuckle escaped the fluffy she-cat as she listened to you clanmate and younger brother- Russetleap. flicking his shoulder with her tail she nodded towards the camp entrance "let go for a quick hunt, i need to stretch my legs" fadedstorm said as she rose to her paws.

nodding his head the red tom rose to his paws, following quickly after Fadedstorm "we need to tell Winterstar first" he called after her, turning his head from side to side as he searched for their leader.

I nodded and started back towards camp. "Maplestar, we found a strange scent near the border" She looked up and replied "There is not much we can do with so few warriors in the clan. We all need time to rest as well, for now, go train Flamepaw, we need to be ready if we have to fight" She turned to Sunflight "Make sure that Berryfall and Acornpaw don't need any help"

The apprentice smiled and then followed her mentor as she walked down the path, but stopped and twitched her ears, as she heard a rustle in some brush not too far off from where they were.

" Did you hear that ? " She asked, flicking her tail.

" Maybe it's just a squirrel? " She added, walking hesitantly forward again.

bowing his head the yellowish cream and white patched tom turned on his paws, with a fluck of his tail he moved towards the camp entrance, slipping out into the territory; following the scent of Berryfall and Acornpaw.

after some time of searching the large tom finally found the two she-cats "Berryfall, Acornpaw" he hreeted with a dip of his head, yellow orbs glancing glancing from the medicine cat to her apprentice "Maplestar sent me to see if you guys needed help with anything" Sunflight added.

the fiery orange she-cat snapped her head in the direction of Maplestar as she heard the older she-cat speak her name, realizing Maplestar was conversing with her mentor- Lightpelt -the young feline quietly approached the two, tail tip twitching with anxiety as she stopped next to the light colored tom "g-good morning Lightpelt, M-Maplestar" Flamepaw greeted softly, averting her gaze to the ground.

"We could use some help sorting these herbs when we get home"

"Good morning Flamepaw, how about you and me go train for a bit?"

Sunflight was quiet as he listened and watched Berryfall, letting out a grunt he nodded his head "very well, shall we get going then?" he questioned, flucking his ear in the direction he just came from.
