Troutwhisker continue alongside the stream, occasionally marking his scent here and there before a curious scent caught his attention. He crouched down by a bundle of flowers to take a closer sniff - this was Ashclan's scent! Before he could think or say anything else, his thoughts were interrupted by a call across the stream. It was Ashclan's medicine cat, Ravenfeather.
"Ravenfeather! Why has Ashclan trespassed in Rippleclan's territory?" He called back sternly, ignoring her other questions.
After washing her fur for a bit, Specklethorn got to her paws and headed to the apprentice's den, hoping to get some training done with her apprentice, Squirrelpaw. The she-cat crouched down by the den entrance and saw the young cat. "Squirrelpaw, hurry up and wake up. We've got plenty to do today." She meowed to her.

The tom was already wide awake, distracting himself with neatly sorting the herbs within the medicine cats den as he had woken up after his mentor had already left. He was a tad bit hesitant to leave the den, aware of his brother still within the camp and he didn't have the energy to deal with him at the moment. HarePaw grimaced at his thought What kind of brother am I? purposely avoiding AmberPaw just because....why is it so difficult to connect with him? siblings are suppose to be close aren't they?
He waved his tail as if using it to brush his thoughts away turning his complete attention to the herbs he was sorting.

The small brown ticked tom was still fast asleep, feel free to wake him up.

It had been many moons since she had joined with RippleClan - the decision had been one that Shellstar hadnโt had the rank to make, though he had to agree with his previous leaderโs mercy. StormClan had grown into something that it had not been, something without honor and with all too much glory in itself. It was AshClan, now - as much as it claimed to be a combination of Clans, at its root, Snowstar and StormClan had held the power and held it there even now. He hadnโt been paying much attention to the other Clans when Shadowheart had made her decision to leave StormClan, but he could only imagine that perhaps even then the roots of something sinister had been snagging into the Clanโs cats.
โShadowheart - are you awake?โ The leader poked his large, furry head into the nursery, the trout clamped tightly in his jaws. He didnโt want to wake the queen if she and her kit were asleep, though he was relieved to see that both of them seemed to be awake, and proceeded to enter the den, which was a bit cramped for his tastes, the big cat that he was. He sat the fish down beside her. โI brought you some prey. The pile was nearly empty; sorry itโs a little scrappy. Iโll make sure one of the mentors has an apprentice bring you something better later, but this should tide you over until then.โ

The dilute tortoiseshellโs body remained low to the ground, belly fur dragging the grass, as she slid past the toms and into a clump of bracken, which she wasted no time in marking. She had only just finished and padded back to her Clanmatesโ side, her eyes lingering once more on Foxstrikeโs pelt with a curiosity in them, when Troutwhiskerโs voice caused her gaze to snap towards the border. Her eyes narrowed as she caught sight of AshClanโs medicine cat: Ravenfeather. Given her mentorโs lack of response, Willowpaw kept her mouth shut and slid into place beside Foxstrike. Willowpaw was not a confrontational cat, and Ravenfeather was still only a medicine cat, so the apprentice didnโt feel the need to even unsheath her claws. Besides, if a fight broke out, three against one didnโt seem particularly fair.
On most nights Moonbeam barely could sleep, he found it hard as he wanted to try to become a true family with Ivydapple and their sons that they share, not that anyone knew they were shared with him. It was easy for some to possibly see it the past moon but it doesn't mean everyone had come to that conclusion, he barely spends time to his now warrior sons as one seems too spiteful towards former non-Stormclan cats and the other seemed just irritated at most things. All he wished for to Starclan at night was for Ivydapple for forgive his choice for the two to spend the rest of their lives together now that they served the same clan. He always hated that he didn't have Ivydapple come to Leafclan but due to current events he was somewhat grateful that he never had as he would of been possibly more devastated if something happened to them in the fire three moons ago. But to had seen his kits grow up would of been something he was pleased to see though he did get to witness their warrior ceremonies at least. In the last moon there was nothing more than he wanted to spend time beside Ivydapple but now he was at least grateful to be in the same den every night as her even if it wasn't the two beside each other. One step at a time.
Last night he had been told he and another warrior and an apprentice had been told they were the border patrol, he didn't mind doing it though he hated Snowstar most days. He didn't like how his previous Leafclan clanmates as well as the Marshclan cat were being treated by the Stormclan cats especially since they were now suppose to all be the same clan - it felt like they were more or less prisoners since the deputy never scheduled cats that were all previously Leafclan or Marshclan together, it was always mostly Stormclan cats and then one other cat. All the cats were grieving in some way, he was grateful that he did have Lavenderrain that had stayed behind as well, she was his niece from one of his sisters. And his only known family.
Despite having been the older and more experienced warrior he had followed behind Nightbreeze's lead on the patrol. But it was better to keep his head down and not say much when it came to cats that seemed so loyal to Snowstar. Another thing was he wasn't known to all the territory yet so it did make some sense though it had been a moon and he missed his old clan that had moved on. "Yes Nightbreeze, we should on the way back," he agreed with the other tom. That was what he normally told his patrols to hunt anytime that they could on the way back from border patrols especially in Leaf-bare though it was currently green-leaf and it never hurt especially when there was queens and kits that needed to eat.

Rainwatcher neatly organized and put away the herbs, which she had gathered this morning: marigold for curing wounds and stopping infection went in the small hole in the ground, where other herbs with similar properties were, and watermint for bellyaches was set aside on a patch of dry moss.
The medicine cat looked over the supplies once more - there were plenty of all types of herbs for now. Greenleaf was usually a season of few ailments, small scrapes and beestings at most. Thankfully, Hawkpaw had also recovered from his broken leg, as best as possible. And Shadowheart and Wolverinekit were healthy, too.
Rainwatcher left the den and headed to camp, plopping down in a nice batch of sun, as there wasn't much else to do at the moment. She glanced towards the practically empty fresh-kill pile and sighed, resting her head down on her paws. Hopefully there'll be something there soon...
