Piperpaw smiled happily from ear to ear as she flicked her tail. “Thanks, Juniperpelt!” She chirped, pattering her paws on the ground with exitement. “I know a place just outside camp that’s rich with moss. Promise I’ll look after them!” She commented, taking a couple steps towards the entrance. The apprentice set a single paw outside the den, hesitated, then crouched and cast a mischievous glance at the kits. “Up for a badger ride? Gotta make the first time outside camp memorable!”

Piperpaw let out a tiny wheeze as the kits scrambled onto her back. Man, they sure grew up fast. I remember when their eyes weren't even open. She noted to herself in amazement, wincing the slightest bit as she felt a small pinch of claws. "I sure am not that tall, but it kinda is! I remember my first day as an apprentice, I raced up and stood on top, pretending to be Piperstar." The apprentice recalled, remembering how proud's she'd felt. For about a heartbeat, until Toadpool approached. "I was in SO much trouble with my mentor." Piperpaw purred, raising herself gingerly to her paws. "Alright! We're off!" She cheered, slipping out of the den and heading towards the camp exit with big, long strides.

Shatteredcall tilted her head and watched Icefur pad away. She felt an unnatural rumble grow in her throat, and she fiercely shoot out her pelt in attempt to get rid of it. The she-cat swept her tail over the ground and turned, raising her muzzle to call to the others. "Whisperedecho! Hollyspring! Come over here. Icefur, you two, Acornpaw, and I are going on a hunting patrol. Time to actually get busy!" She said, flicking an ear and narrowing her eyes. Now to get that apprentice. Shatteredcall seethed, rolling her eyes and heading swiftly to the apprentice den, her paw steps silent as ever.

Hollyspring pricked her ears and stood up, cutting off her stretch. "Well, looks like there's no need to ask!" She said, nudging Whisperedecho with a cheery demeanor. The Warrior ruffled her spinal fur and held back a yawn as she moved forwards and began to pad towards where Icefur stood.

Piperpaw purred a little as she slipped outside of the camp, quickly dipping her head to Icefur as she pattered by. She inhaled the sweet scent of past rains, damp soil, fresh ferns, and even better.. blooming flowers. She flicked her ear as Maplekit spoke, she raised an eyebrow. "Sorry about that.. I dunno if I'm allowed to let you hunt yet. I bet everyone would be mad at me." Piperpaw sighed dramatically, heading down a short path towards the mossy tree stump that she'd constantly been going to. "Though I bet once I'm done clearing out you and your mum's nest, I can show you a move or two!" The apprentice added, her tone lighthearted as she stepped over a tiny, trickling brook.
