Cinder was in her own world when a voice snaps her back to reality. "Oh, hey there," She meows, flicking her tail in greeting. "I didn't see you there." It was clear this cat did not know of her presence a moon ago. Word must not have spread. Or maybe they forgot, what did she know? "I hope I'm not bothering you, I know how you clan cats are about borders and outsiders and all that mouse-dung. I'm just relaxing, is all."

kieran narrowed his eyes as he saw a grey tabby shape a small distance off. he blinked and sniffed the air. the cat certainly didn't smell like a clan cat, and it wasn't inside clan territory either way, so kieran decided it would be safe to talk to them. he approached them carefully, posture relaxed to make himself look nonthreatening. his sharp green eyes narrowed cautiously as he stepped up to him. maybe this cat knew where to find food and was friendly enough to tell, or maybe he was willing to hunt together. two noses were better than one - well, until there's only one piece of prey. kieran felt that he could possibly outrun the other cat if there was a fight over prey. when he was in speaking distance, he called out carefully. "you, there. are you out looking for food as well?"

pipit nodded to watershade and then flicked her tail towards deadpaw, beckoning for him to come with. "let's get on, then." with his comment about the sun, she made a mental note to keep an eye on him. she led the tom out of the camp and waited for him to catch up. she flicked her ears nervously, noting that there didn't seem to be much birdsong or prey sounds.

sagefur startled slightly when the medicine cat walked in, as she hadn't heard her approach. she looked at her, her green eyes a bit wary before she mentally reprimanded herself for having a hostile attitude with her medicine cat. at least it wasn't her apprentice that had come. she forced herself to relax a bit. "i'm alright, thanks. the kits are moving around a lot this morning," she said, her tone guarded. she glanced at her paws for a moment. "i'm just worried about leafbare, is all."

as tansythorn stepped out, snowcreek padded up to his mate and nudged her affectionately with his nose. "they'll be here soon! i can't wait to meet them," he purred softly. "did you still want to take a walk? we might not be able to take too many more this year." there wouldn't be too many more days with decent weather, most likely. his silvery tail rested on his mates back while he awaited her response.

Deadpaw moved smoothly behind the tabby warrior, making sure to keep the molly within his field of vision as much as he could, after all - despite desiring to head out alone - getting lost in the forest wasn't a thing he would like this very moment. His ears twitched, moving gently with the hints of sounds from the forest as he was suddenly alert, eyes focused as much as he could with the upcoming light of day. He watched the she-cat moving ahead of him, tilting his head to the side slightly in mild curiosity towards her stance.

- What happened, Pipitpounce? You heard anything? - He asked softly, raising his head a little more to glance around as he caught up with her. For him the forest was in a silent state of peace that he rather enjoyed, now if that was something normal or not was an entirely different story. For him the woods had always been this way, with an imminent tension that implied something was always about to happen... And not always something good.

Some would say the forest was filled with different types of silence. The first could sure be the silence of an almost empty forest at dawn, where most prey were still asleep, hiding from the upcoming cold. The second silence was related to the cats, the silent predators who made silence their ally and the third, and last, silence was the silence of the dead... The silence of the doomed who were just waiting for anyone to make a mistake.

- Do you think we should head back? - He asked softly, words slightly muffled by the herb he carried within his needle like kitten teeth. He moved his ears a little, glancing around as he stepped closer to the warrior.

“Relaxing in our territory. Unless you are here to join us you should probably leave.” Hollyblossom said, remaining calm. She vaguely remembered Cinder from a moon ago. She actually regret not talking at all to the calico. “So is that why you came here? You wish to join the clan?” She couldn’t help asking. “You’d probably be warmer with the clan then out in the forest in leaf bare.” She added.

“Yes. I’m having very little luck with leaf bare on its way though. My last meal was a rabbit two days ago...” Monty said, blushing at how embarrassed he felt having little luck with prey. “My name is Monty by the way.” He smiled as the black tom seemed to be acting friendly and not hostile. “Maybe we would have better luck if we hunted together?” He offered.

"I'm glad you think I would be a valuable asset to your clan," Cinder purrs, grinning at the shecat below her. "But I don't think I would be very welcome. Half your clanmates want to tear my ears off!" She scoffs, rolling her eyes at the thought of the many cats whom she had encountered. "Besides, I'm all stocked up, me and Sun practically hunted everything in the whole forest!" She mentions the clan cat gone rogue hoping for a reaction; the clan probably despised him as much as herself! Plus, it was satisfying to see how successfully she had stolen one of their own. She was grateful to have someone she could spend time with... Or she did anyway. She hoped, wherever he was, that he was safe and warm.

“Well at least you and Sun aren’t worried about illness. The clan is very concerned. We make do with what we have for food. We will even go as far to freeze hunting for prey.” Hollyblossom replied trying to stay calm. It was hard to stay calm when Cinder brought up having caught everything in the forest. “No two cats can hunt everything in the whole forest!” She hissed, tail flicking back and forth in anger. Her ears pinned back at the thought. “Do you even care if kits die of hunger?! She added.

Cinder chuckles at the cat's anger, she didn't get a reaction out of mentioning Sun, but she did about the prey. "Less mouths to feed." She states, shrugging. "We decided to stock up a little early so now I have enough to last me throughout the whole of leafbare! Maybe if you ask nicely I'll give you a mouse or two." She adds, giving the cat a wink. "Besides, you lot will be fine. You've survived this long, I don't think this leafbare will be the end of you all... Probably."

Eeriestar stood up after her medicine cat spoke to her,giving a nod to her words. Excitement glinted in her eyes for a few moments before it faded away. Glancing back at her mate,she gave a nod,padding out of camp with him. She didn't say anything for a while,just letting the cold wind ruffle her inky black fur.Eventually though she did turn to look at her mate,ears pinned to the back of her head."We haven't even thought of names yet Snowcreek. . .what do you think?"

it seems that she was slightly startled by her presence though tansythorn didn't exactly blame her. at times most cats were overly supersititious about her apprentice and it seemed sagefur was one of the felines that held that belief. rather than question her slight startled behavior, she focused on the queen as she spoke. "leafbare is barely here. there should be no issues as of yet." the molly said in response at first. "how active have the kits been?" she questioned her in response.

he watched as the young molly left the camp without any company. at first he just sat there and debated on whether or not to follow her. the tom rolled his eyes with a sigh and then pushed himself up to his paws. her scent was easy to be tracked, that was for sure and the tom soon grew close enough to spot her her with an unfamiliar cat. the tom perked up for a moment before padding into their general sight, hearing cinder's last words. "it isn't even cold enough for leaf-bare to cause any issues as of yet." the tom stated. "but anyway, i'm pretty sure you aren't suppose to be trespassing either now are you?" the older tom stated rather bluntly.

after cloudcover responded with a greeting that made him grin sheepishly. he heard his name and her own being called by watershade. the tom pushed himself up to his paws and padded over towards the deputy. another yawn came from the orange tabby before he turned his amber gaze to watershde and waited on the tom to speak, pretty sure that they were about to go out on a patrol of some sort.
