Kwelpaw was purring. Serves him right! Then she gulped. What will be his punishment? Kwelpaw pushed the fear out of her belly and padded into the apprentice's den. There, she curled her body around Siffrinpaw, desperate to hide him from Stormheart. "Thank you," Siffrinpaw murmured.

Stormheart followed the scent into the Apprentices Den, "Is Siffrinpaw in here?" He asked

The patrol of Breezeclan cats went on their way.

Siffrinpaw held his breath as Stormheart padded into the den.
Kwelpaw licked Siffrinpaw's ears. "He doesn't see you." she murmured. "It's alright."

"I'll ask again, where is Siffrinpaw? He has to be in here cause the scent doesn't lead anywhere else." Stormheart mewed.

"Siffrinpaw isn't in here." Kwelpaw meowed, pretending to have been woken up by him.

"His scent doesn't lead anywhere else Kwelpaw." Stormheart sighed, "And he can't disappear into thin air."
