Tyrus looked at his sister intensely. "Would you be willing to risk traveling far into the forest?" He tilted his head. As much as Tyrus wanted to explore, he didn't want to risk any harm to his sister. He knew how reckless she could be when she got excited. While listening to her answer, he gulped down his mouse. "I bet there are juicer mice deeper into the forest." He partially drooled as he thought of the idea. Seeing the Kallie was okay with the idea, he stood up. "Let's go then. We still have daylight left." Anxiously, he began to walk to the forest entrance. He noticed a path, "Look Kallie..."

Kallie nodded her head. "I'll go anywhere, I don't mind." She loved to explore, the world was just so big. She watched as her brother ate his mouse and prepared himself to leave. Following her brother, Kallie began to trot mindlessly. She stopped suddenly as Tyrus began to speak. "A trail...?" She padded up to it to sniff it. "Smells like other cats?" Kallie took a step back. I wonder if they are nice cats?

she sighs "umm, ill head outside for fresh air heh" she quickly stepped out of camp to get to her favorite spot, a patch of lamb ear, she sat on the patch and watched the world go by. "mom,if you can hear me, thank you." she looked at her paws remembering the first time in camp and shivered, she dreaded that day, all the judging eyes on her, but she was thankful fro silverstars kindness so she stayed, otherwise she would have ran out of camp and never return, yes she gets along with other, but she dont want to say something that would harm others. she looked up to see some bushes moving so she hid herself behind some brambles."i wonder who.." she whispered.

Silverstar watched the clan go about their day, starting tasks and duties. Going downward the slope, he took a few licks of the water that came through the camp. It helped they had this stream come through, so kits and queens could drink and stay clean without leaving the camp.

The tom raised his head, seeing Lostfire laying near the warriors' den. She was still new and had alot to get used to. He thought of asking to see how she was doing but felt it may be more intruding then coming across as kind. He was curious as to all she had dealt with and how she would continue facing clan life and such. Instead, he stay lost in thought regarding the choice of the deputy.

The young warrior saw her apprentice not to far off near the den. Her smile was delicate and padded beside the young apprentice. "How are you feeling? You look ready for a good day." She meowed, wishing she could hold to confidence as well.
The two where alike, for the better or worse, but it made their bond make more sense. She looked up, a clear day and cool. Greyflower thought of showing Dovepaw paths that were used by all cats and understanding borders correctly.

Ashpaw - Tom - 12 moons - No crush/mate currently - Apprentice/ Mentor is Slitfire - Tags: Slitfire, Bayclaw

Ashpaw turned to see his mentor call him over, along with Bayclaw and ... Squirrelpaw? She was missing. He knew she was Bayclaw's apprentice and knew they were called for the patrol. Where'd she go? He held his annoyed face as usual, looking at his mentor as he padded up to follow. "Good morning, Slitfire and Bayclaw."

she lay behind the bush waiting.. waiting for whatever was there to come out, her ear twitched as she heard Ashpaw talking, but she just shrugged it off like it was no big deal, now THIS was a big deal, an potential intruder, she just had to wait silently and stay as still as possible. "come onnn, come onn!" she whispered to herself "if nothing shows up I might as well head back" she mumbled, but she stayed just in case.

Tyrus watched as Kallie sniffed the trail. Otheer cats...? He padded up to the trail. Before he could think himself out of going, he began to walk down the trail. The farther they went the stronger the smell of other cats became. He lowered himself as he walked, now being extra cautious of every move he made. Tyrus attempted to keep Kallie safely behind him, but all his attempts failed. There was nothing that would keep that cat calm.

Kallie followed along with her brother. He was walking incredibly slow and Kallie was becoming frustrated. She began to trot ahead of him. Ignoring all the hisses he was sending her way to make her slow down. I might find a friend! She was thrilled at the idea of this. Kallie was lost in her thoughts when all of the sudden she tripped over a fallen branch. She looked back at her brother, knowing he would be mad at all the noise she was making.

She jumped out of the bushes at the sound of the cat in the area "who are you?!" she tried to puff up her pelt to make her look bigger, but failed "this is mythic clan territory! i would leave if i were you! its hard to be accepted here!" she told them while remembering all the stares of the clan when she joined. "ill need to report this to silver star right away, if you have any sense you'd leave." she ran to the camp entrance "SILVERSTAR! SILVERSTAR! THERE ARE INTRUDERS ON CLAN BORDERS!" she ran in coughing for air as she layed down on the ground thankful to be able to stop.

Petalpelt turned her head "Good morning Aspenpaw!" she replied cheerfully. She paused, studying him carefully for a few moment "Did you sleep alright?" she asked. She padded closer and sat down "Did the meeting wake you up?" she asked carefully approaching the topic.

Bayclaw smiled warmly at the other warrior and apprentice "Good morning." she greeted before she sighed slightly. "Guess Squirrelpaw didn't hear and took off without us." she shook her head. "I'll have to talk to her about that." she said slightly annoyed her apprentice had gone off without the rest of the border patrol. She pricked her ears when she heard Squirrelpaw come rushing back shouting for Silverstar.

Shadowstep glanced around the cats gathered quietly trying to figure out who exactly Silverstar might pick. He had a few suspicions, cats he thought would make a good deputy. But what did he know about all that? He shook out his fluffy black and white fur then glanced around again. He hadn't been called for anything so he supposed he was free until he could figure out something to do..

Sunspots hadn't been paying all that much attention to the meeting honestly, he was a young warrior and was in no way even close to being a deputy nor did he think he might ever want to be. He admired Silverstar for being able to put up with the entire clan and lead them but it seemed so hard he didn't ever want to try. Instead he looked around hoping to spot someone who'd be willing to talk to him.

Falconpaw let out a soft yawn as he tried to wake up, blinking his tired eyes slowly as he listened to everyone. A new deputy? How exciting! He let a small smile slip across his face before he looked around. Now what to do today? He'd have to wait for the other apprentices to get back before he could do anything with them.. And the medicine cat apprentice was probably busy also.. So who did that leave? He turned his head looking around before he looked at the elder's den. He could always go bother Pebblepool?

Pebblepool

Today was an especially hard day for Pebblepool, her back leg hurt just a little more than usual but she still slowly limped her way out of the elder's den so she could hear what Silverstar was talking about. After that the older she-cat slowly sat down and looked around the camp smiling slightly as she watched Bayclaw call for her apprentice and then Petalpelt disappear back into the medicine cat's den. She purred softly before her attention turned back to just casually watching the entire clan.

She pants and tells the leader " i- i went ahead of the group and and i heard something in the bushes so i waited just in case and there were 2 cats i didnt recognize their smell so i came running back, hopefully they might not be hostile" she shivered, she had bad experiences when she was still cocoa from others. "so uhh yeah... sorry for wasting your time if you had something to do.." she meowed and headed back to the payroll "sorry guys i uhh... needed some fresh air"

Tyrus watched in confusion as the young cat ran off. "What was that all about?" He asked, looking at Kallie. "I think she's a little more hyper than you." He chuckled a bit. "Maybe we should follow to see where she went?" Tyrus glanced in the direction the cat ran. "Who was this..silverstar.. she mentioned?" He continued along the path, studying his surroundings. The scent of other cats was very strong now.

Kallie stared at Tyrus. "That was weird!" She exclaimed. Standing up she began to follow behind her brother. It was so pretty this far in the forest. Why had they never considered this before? Kallie, as usual, became bored following behind Tyrus and decided to trot on ahead. She saw a small clearing and entered it. After halfway entering the clearing, she saw many other cats. Kallie froze. "Uhh..."

she whipped around to find one of the cats she met in the camp "thats one of them!?!? what are you doing here?!?!?" she meowed stunned, she never thought that the she-cat would follow her, "where is the other?" she looked at the others in camp in case the she-cats partner was somewhere " I TOLD YOU SILVERSTARRR" she talked to bayclaw about what hppened and why she was gone.
