caimanstar was sure if he could ever commit fully to a she-cat. he didn't mean to hurt people but he couldn't stay tied down, it would make him feel like he was being held down by a coyote and constantly being strangled and choked. still, he always went back to a she-cat and then left her when he couldn't stand it any longer. he knew petalflower had one kit, his name had been garkit but he didn't know anything of her history. "so how are you feeling? how is garkit?" he asked.

geckoclaw smiled as he heard that spiderpaw was excited for hunting. a lot of apprentices were only excited when they heard they were going to train for fighting. before he walked out of camp, he caught a glance of caimanstar flirting with petalflower. he bristled a bit. he hated how fast the leader moved on, especially when he was leaving his mate with kits. geckoclaw would never do something like that. he looked away and nodded to spiderpaw. "there should be. i hope to catch a fish or two today," he said to him.

sirenpaw was pretty excited when she heard fishfin's usual greeting. "sorry that i woke up, im just really excited to train," she said with a happy smile. she needed at the ground with her paws as she waited for him to get up. "thank you," she said to her with the twitches as she looked at the fish. she took a bite and smiled. she felt a kit moving. "i think the kits like this fish," she signed to laurelnose.

Cloudpaw tried to think over his training and what he seemed to be better at. He was quick on his feet, a good attribute to both hunting and fighting, but he did lack in one over the other."Fighting would be great Skyrunner. I know how to hunt well and I think my fighting skills need some work. I know there aren't any other clans, but there are still dangers and I need to be prepared to fight."he knew that the chances of fighting with a loner was very slim, but there were other things that could kill cats. Someday his clan may depend on his fighting skills and he wanted to make sure he could do his very best. If he neglected one training over the other then that may give him a huge disadvantage, something he would prefer to avoid.

Spiderpaw followed his mentor's gaze back to Camainstar once again. He wasn't going to say anything and he knew it was none of his business, so once again he returned his attention to Geckoclaw as he followed the warrior out of camp."I think fish are a bit easier to hunt, their always in the water. Not only that but other prey, such as mice or voles, can hear and smell you. Fish can only detect your shadows so as long as you don't hover over the water your fine."he responded, his voice warm and cheerful as he thought of the days hunting session."And if you ask me, fish taste much better!"he remembered eating more fish then anything else when he was younger. He didn't miss the nursery, but he had good memories there.

The young warrior laid outside of the den, soaking in the early morning rays, trying to be the "early bird gets the worm" idea down. He enjoyed the early mornings, watching who all had woken up early, and those who woke up later. Watching as he felt his fur of the early morning on the Florida Everglades. He pried his mouth open, giving a yawn, a small mewl escaping his mouth as he did so.
Clamping his jaws shut, he pulled his paw to his mouth out of reaction of what felt like a flea bite between his toes. He nibbled at his splayed paws. As he finished his small task, the she-cat who had just exited the warrior den caught his attention, she had been at the entrance, and his ears flicked at her humming. Passing it on, he shifted his eyes to the other cats in the clearing. Some in the shade, and others over near the nursery. Finally passing his sight onto the clan leader, who looked uneasy. He flicked his ears, deciding to leave the tom alone as he went on to flirt with the she-cat, looking as if he didn't want to be bothered. Instead, waited patiently for his apprentice, Echopaw.

She found the darting youngster who seemed happy to go, other times, she would be shooken, considering she had just woken up, but she got all of her stretching in, so she was completely awake now. "I'm ready as well." She smiled at the excitement and looked about the clearing, flicked her tail at him to follow, typically taking her own pace to things, since she was stubborn. "You want to do some battle moves today, or do you want to go about and work on your hunting?" She wanted to see where he thought he needed to work on.
