Adan continued walking daintily and quietly around, on alert for hunters. Or tigers. Hunters and other tigers - those were his main priorities. He stopped for a moment, inhaling deeply through his nose, trying to catch scents. From the north there was something.. Different. He couldn't place it.
Out of curiosity, he went to his right and kept walking, picking up his paws silently as he went. Are there humans? Other cats? he wondered, trying to get a grip on the situation.

Suraya's ears were pricked forward.
"Yes it is." She stated proudly, even though she was a lone tiger she protected a nice little piece of land. Her eyes where still narrowed, she wasn't quite sure of this other tiger. The air of confidence and slight cockyness bothered her. Though at word of hunter she growled slightly,
"What is hunter but a less hated, word for killers." She mumbled under her breath as her tail flicked. Though Suraya added in something, she wasn' t one to be rude,
"I'm Suraya and you are." She felt as if she had to add that in.

Jason could see that his tone was annoying her and he smiled slightly, "My name is Jason. I hail from the territory just west of here." He turned as if to leave, "As I said, I'm just passing through, however, if you'd like, feel free to escort me to the border, just in case you don't believe me."
He started walking away slowly, wincing slightly as the foilage rubbed against a wound that one of the dogs had given him. "Stupid dogs." He growled softly, stopping for a moment to lick the tender spot before continuing away. "Sorry to have disturbed you, be careful with the hunters around, they're not the brightest, but they're dangerous all the same."

Suraya straightened up and padded over to stand next to Jason. He was correct, she didn't quite believe him ubut nonetheless she was also lonely and some company even if for just a little while wouldn't be too bad.
"Nice to Meet you than Jason, west...beautiful lands over there." She added in, while searching for her own territory she had moved through there. Her tail flicked tensely as she growled in agrement at the stated words of dogs.
"I suppose I did get a bit hissy though." She sighed knowing she should ahve at least checked what it was before getting angry and besides this other tiger seemed pretty docile as far as most tigers come.

Jason shrugged, "It's fine. I can understand your protectiveness. With the humans around, it's hard not to become a bit tense." He liked that she had decided to come along, it had been ages since he had last spoken with one of his kind in a mostly peaceful situation. "I know I've been a bit uptight with anyone and anything passing through my home. I can't really help feeling nervous with the humans around. They caught me as a cub and killed my parents, horrible experience, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone."
He glanced sideways at Suraya and allowed the corner of his muzzle to curl upward into a half smile. "The life of our kind is hard, luckily we're strong enough to take it most of the time. And when we're not, others are there to take our place. For now anyway." The smile faded slightly, his eyes troubled, "There are so few of us at this point, sometimes I fear that we will one day no longer exist upon this land we call home."

Suraya flicked her ear onces and continued to walk along,
"Correct you are....oh I'm sorry for your loss. Though I suppose hardships that we survive simply make us stronger. But have you ever took a moment to think about how none of us is all that special we are all hated by humans......they don't care about us...all they want is a pelt and a chance to say,"I killed 'em." To their friends." It seemed obvious that Suraya liked to change the topic quickly and stated thinks that barely held any similarities to the original words spoken.

Jason nodded at the sudden change in subject. "That's also true. Humans are stupid that way. They don't need our pelts, they have pelts of their own already. Obviously they don't seem to think before acting." His eyes darkened, "But if they think they're going to take me without a fight, they're in for a surprise. I'll take them down with me, they won't get the chance to brag to their friends about my death."

Suraya laughed lightly yet with a dark undertone,
"Correct......again correct whihc in turn translates to true." Her tail swayed a bit and she turned quickly,
"Oh no..." She mumbled,
"They...caught up." She growled her ears pricked forward to catch small sounds.
