Thrushpaw was sitting on a flat rock in the middle of camp, grooming her short fur and cherishing the sunlight. She gave one final stroke of her tongue and rested her head on her paws, closing her eyes. She gaped her jaws in a yawn, stretching her toes and limbs with a smile.

Stumpyflower

Stumpyflower grunted, sweeping her tail around the withered herb pile. Wasted herbs, by some careless kit coming in here, no doubt. She gave it one final sniff, finding a couple salvageable juniper berries before shoving the pile into dirtplace outside. She pushed it into an outer border, so no clueless kitten would try to eat it because of the sweetish scent of catmint inside. Stumpyflower exited dirtplace and padded toward the fresh-kill pile, where she fished out a plump mouse for herself. She paused and surveyed the camp, watching [whoever] leave the camp. She figured he had gone to hunt, since typically there was more than one cat going to patrol borders.

Cloudedeye

"Of course they are," Cloudedeye grunted, but placed her tail on the older she-cat's flank gently to show her that she had only been kidding. "I just don't get it. They're always like this, loud, naggy.. I love them both so much but I didn't expect the noisiness when I had them." She'd never regret those kittens for as long as she lived, but they really were a trying bunch.

Poofkit

As soon as Poofkit was put down, she waddled towards Mooncatcher and rubbed her body against the she-cat's legs with an affectionate purr. "You're a good one," she commented. "You won't take my fun away!" she growled, shooting a glare at her mother even though the fluffy queen couldn't see it.

Tuftkit

"Will not! That's dumb. I'm fine now!" Tuftkit protested, his fur fluffing up. "Look how big I am!" He pranced around Puddlejump's paws, his fur fluffed up to twice the normal size.

Fang

As soon as Fang reached the den, he was almost knocked over by the immense force that hit him - Piper. "Piper, what are you doing??" he mewed, winded. She was standing over him, grinning. A vole was in her jaws. "Woah, Piper! You found that?" He knew that neither of them were skilled enough to hunt, and Sprinkle certainly was not.

"Yeah! Isn't it great?" Piper purred, jumping off of her brother. "Sprinkle is sleeping, but let's go inside." She padded proudly back into the den, placing her vole on the floor. She turned and finally saw what Fang had managed to gather - a huge slab of meat that smelled even better than the vole. "Where'd you find that??" she mewed, suddenly ravenous. All of their ribs were showing and they were almost always hungry, but tonight they could fill their bellies for once.

The pale warriors repressed laughter teased the air between them. “I’ve heard from a very reputable source that kits are rarely what we expect them to be.” Life just had a way of surprising them. Smiling slyly to her friend, Mooncatcher crouched closer to Poofkit and whispered conspiratorially – albeit not quiet enough for the watchful queen not to overhear. “Between you and me, Poofkit, your mom’s always been kind of a killjoy.” Her words were meant to amuse, nothing more. In reality the warrior admired the stately she-cat in some ways. The idea of being cooped up in camp all day wasn’t an enviable thought and that Cloudedeye, and every queen before her really, did so without a fuss blew her mind. “Who knows, maybe you can help me teach her to live a little.”

Brindleclaw was laying in the middle of the camp as she was waiting for a patrol she could jump in. Her brother and she didn't really agree on a lot so it was hard for her to be in the same group nowadays. She soon shook her head as she looked down at her paw. Her tail flicked around as she lets out a small yawn.

Foxshade padded as he heard his name. He soon stepped out of the bushes before he looked at Eaglestar. He purrs softly as he ran up to his leader. He bumped his head with his leader. He smiles as he bats his ears softly. "EAGLESTAR!" He purrs softly as he sat down.

Cometshadow looked around before noticing a certain calico she-cat who was sitting on a flat rock in the middle of camp,"We could take Thrushpaw with us." He suggested.

Moonpaw thought quietly about it before nodding,"I-I guess I could stay for a little bit......" She shyly replied before carefully moving to lay down next to the Quailfeather.

Wildkit was nearly asleep as she quietly sucked, snuggling between Honeykit's fur and Quailfeather's pelt for warmth. She was a little smaller then her littermate, with her blue tainted gray fur and white paws, chest and muzzle.

It took far too long to get back." he said shaking his head slightly. A wistful look in his eyes "It was a long journey, the flood took me far from this place. I've spent almost the entire time just walking back here." he said.

"Hello?" she called out softly her eyes scanning the area for any sign of them.

➣ Wolfheart had just returned from her solo hunt in Mysticalclan territory. Her pelt was ungroomed and stuck out like thorns, her blue orbs were dull from lack of sleep as she had been helping out in the clan camp rebuilding some of the dens. With the absence of Eaglestar it seemed as if the clan was still doing okay without their leader being present. In her maw was a limp, plump mouse that she carried to the fresh-kill pile. Once she dropped it off the fae made her way close to where the other warriors slept and sat down and began to groom out her pelt while she had the time to do so. As she groomed her grey pelt, the warrior stopped and gazed around the camp for a second to make sure no other cat was coming up to her. As she saw that no one was present she resumed grooming her pelt.
