old she helped a queen
give birth to her healthy

but the day she became
an apprentice, her father
was hit by a monster while
he was chasing a squirrel.
skypaw was deeply depressed
since she knew he was chasing
the squirrel for her. now
she is happy and content.

Creamflower is eating a fish from the fresh-kill pile, savoring the delicious taste. She scans the clearing, seeing whose up and about this morning. She wonders where Sunstar is, happy that they are mates.

Sunstar caught sight of Creamflower, and smiled to himself. They had grown close over the journey and he had asked her to be his mate. He silently padded up behind her, keeping surprise on his side. "Well goodmorning Creamflower. How is your fish?" He asked suddenly and quietly, seemingly appearing out of nowhere.

Creamflower hears a voice and turns her head to see Sunstar, smiling. "Hello Sunstar!" she said, taking another bite of the fish. She nuzzles her mate, twining her tail with his.

Thrushfoot ; Location - camp ; Tags - Sunstar, Gingertree, Cloudpaw
Thrushfoot caught Sunstar's eye and quickly headed over to the clan leader. He nodded once his orders were received before silently turning away to form a patrol. He spotted Gingertree and Cloudpaw, looking like they were already heading out anyway, and called out to them, "Gingertree, would you and your apprentice like to go on a hunting patrol with Creekpaw and I?" He said, his voice was soft yet exotic.

Nighteco ; Location - the forest ; Tags - Lilydawn
Night echo smiled at the queen, "Very well, I'll also check up on Frostkit when I return." He said before disappearing from the den entrance. The sleek tom then made his way to the entrance of camp. Night echo hesitated before leaving camp, he hated leaving the safety of camp and his fur visibly stood on end. However, his clan needed herbs so he forced himself to leave. He made his way through the forest, jumping at every foreign sound as he searched for new growths of catmint and other herbs. He didn't need much since the clan wasn't fighting any battles, but he knew white cough and green cough were always threats to cats of any age.

"You're out early," A voice called down to the young apprentice below. Hawkwing lounged on a branch, high in a nearby tree. His pale blue eyes gazed down at Silverpaw, tail twitching. "If you wanted to hunt so bad, you should've found me. You're making me look bad," The tabby tom chuckled at his tease.

Gingertree glanced up as she heard the tom ask if they wanted to go before she nodded to him, "We were going to head out anyway so why not." She knew that Cloudpaw might not like the idea as much, but she also knew that she needed to get used to working with other cats because as a warrior she would have to. She hoped to understand why her apprentice felt that why and had an idea that she hoped to work on her with because she knew Cloudpaw could be strong at hunting and prove that should help. "Are we waiting on Creekpaw then?" Gingertree asked as she walked to stand next to Thrustfoot while scanning the camp in search of the young apprentice.

It wasn't long before he picked up the sound of something moving inside of the burned trees, far larger than any prey causing his hair to stand on end. A while back he had noticed a large influx of cats coming into the area and had yet to find out what they were doing and why they all decided to move. Honestly, he had tried to ignore the cats and avoid them for as long as he could, but it seemed he could be running into one of them today. "You from the large group that moved here awhile ago?" He asked carefully once the she-cat was in sight, his tail twitching in case it turned violent.

Turtle looked up at the tom who addressed her. She could see that he was at least a moon or two younger than herself, but as always, he was a bit bigger than herself. When he mentioned the large group of cats, her ears perked up for a moment. "Large group of cats? No I am not from there. Some came through here?... I'm Turtle, in case you were wondering," she replied, her interest peaked but she didn't want to get her hopes up. Not yet. She wouldn't believe the silver cat until she saw them herself.

Rivermist walked quietly through the forest, the sun turning to liquid gold as it started to push through the trees. She could scent rain on the way, but it didn't seem as if it would be for a while yet. She didn't pay attention as she walked and simply let her paws carry her through the trees. She was too focused on trying to clear her mind from the nightmares again. If a mouse bit her she wouldn't have even paused. Her tail flicking steadily, she continued on.

The long legged tom nodded, "Yes. You two can head out now if you'd like while i find my apprentice." Without waiting for a response, Thrushfoot nodded to the two sheets before heading to the apprentice den to wake Creekpaw. "Creekpaw, we are assigned to on a hunting patrol."

Cloudpaw ; Location - camp ; Tags - Gingertree, Thrushfoot
Cloudpaw was a tad irritated that another apprentice would be joining, but it was only one cat so it shouldn't be too dreadful. "Can we go out ahead of them?" she asked as soon as Thrushfoot gave them permission. Her eyes, although clouded, conveyed her excitement and desire to hunt as soon as possible.

Nightecho ; Location - Forest ; Tags - OPEN
Nightecho was shoulders deep in a mess of tree roots. He had stumbled upon some comfrey roots and couldn't help but snag a few. He was so focused on gathering roots he was completely oblivious to his surroundings. Night echo's tail lashed in the air as his rump stuck out of the earth.
