Sorrowstep was in her usual spot this morning, sulking off by the cliffside her back to her clanmates. She let out a wistful sigh, she'd asked again for her name to be changed, and again she'd been told no. She had thought Eaglestar might change it, she didn't think it was fair for Snowstar to change her name like that.. She told herself it was because she was one of the last cats Snowstar named before she passed, it had been a moment of bad judgement.. But Eaglestar told her it fit her, and technically, she knew he was right.. But that didn't help any... Now for sure her clan mates would never accept her back.. She'd ignored them too long anyways.. So now she truly was destined for nothing much loneliness and suffering!! If only her brother were here, he'd be quick to tell her to stop being so over dramatic, if he could read thoughts that was.. Most of her thoughts and sometimes her words, were pretty overly dramatic.

Show me what you got!" she cheerfully purred.

Like cleaning out the elder's den or cleaning the nursery." he rolled his eyes. "I don't see why Eaglestar says we have to keep cleaning it up if no one's even expecting kits yet. Just seems like a waste of time."

RiverClaw awoke from a terrible dream and just tried to shake it off. She padded from her den and saw her mate and slightly perked her ears back. She did have some secret feelings for another but she loved her mate. She sighed and approached him and sat by him and asked "how did you sleep love?" she hid her feelings but she was very tired and she hid that with a smile and a small purr as she licked her mates cheek. She was forced to be mates with someone, it bothered her but she went along with it.

Rainwhisker let out a long yawn and stretched his hind legs. He rested a second more then slipped out of bed. Suddenly, a jolt of pain went up his leg. He looked down and realized he had stubbed his paw on a rock. Stupid. he thought to himself. He shook his paw slightly, as if to cast off an itch, and trotted into camp. he gazed around to see who was out, then trotted over to a spot where he could sit down and wait to see if he was called on patrol.

Hollytail woke up on her back on the floor. She must have rolled off her nest again, and she really wished that would stop happening. She shook the clumps of dirt out of her long, white coat. It was probably past time to be in camp already, so she sprang to her feet and trotted into camp. Immediately, she spotted Rainwhisker. He looked to be in a bad mood so Hollytail looked around to see where else she could go to have a quick conversation. She ended up going over to see what Dolphinsplash was doing.
