bearbite was looking all over for his leader but noticed he was crowed by she-cats. The huge battlescarred tom walked over to Blizzardstar growling so that the she-cats would back away. He walked with his head up high as if he was in fact the most powerful tom; he knew he wasn't as powerful as Blizzardstar but he was close.
"Blizzardstar," the tom-cat spoke in his deep brute voice, "i will be sending out dawn patrol, and i would like you to approve my choice of cats: raven, thistleclaw, wolfclaw, hawkpaw and bluepaw. While they are out they can patrol for traces of wolf near the territory." Bearbite glared once again at the two she-cats around blizzardstar and narrowed his eyes.

"Oh... Well,I maybe didn't sleep last night at all because," She leaned closer to WrenPaw hoping no other cat would hear, especially her mentor, "I heard howling in the woods... And I possibly went to check it out..." She sighed. "I tried to find the source of the howling, but it got too creepy and I turned back. I got about 10 minutes of sleep." FernPaw lifted her head to see how her friend would react to this, and also to make sure no other cats overheard.

"yes, that sounds good, bearbite. thank you for asking me to approve," he said to him. he could tell that snowpoppy wasn't in the mood for bearbite's grumpiness. "oh, yes, go ahead," he said with a friendly smile. he just wanted to make everyone happy.

"You are never to sleep in like that again, so don't get used to it." She mewed when her apprentice was awake.

bearbite gazed at snowpoppy as she made a expression, "that face you're making is just as ugly as you are." the tom-cat spoke bitterly snapping his teeth at the she-cat before she left. the tom couldn't control his anger or his tone and holding his anger back just makes it worse; the best thing for him to do was bark and not bite because his bite is even more painful than his bark. He obviously didn't think he would be a good leader speaking to his clan-mates like this but he tries his hardest, he was raised to be mean and was never showed any affection. Bearbite tom turn back to his leader and flicked his tail in embarrassment. he sighed and dipped his head to his leader and apologized to him before walking to the warrior's den.

The large bear-like tom peaked his head in the warrior's dwn and gazed at the sleeping bodies. he looked around for raven, but didn't see him. then he turned towards the fresh kill pile and spotted his siamese pelt. "morning raven," bearbite spoke as he approached the young warrior, "could you lead a dawn patrol? Take your apprentice, wolfclaw, thistleclaw and his apprentice bluepaw. ─ and keep an eye out for any trace of wolf or a wolf's scent. be sure to report anything you find suspicious."
