Heatherstar heard Hawkeye "good idea I might Aswell wake sandypaw up anyway"she said going into the apprentice den she nudged sandypaw with her muzzle "come on you are going on a border patrol"she walked out and to liontail "I need you to get sandypaw and two others for a border patrol"she said to him smiling

Sandypaw stirred with a mumble, blinking tiredly.

Liontail nodded, getting to his paws. He looked for another cat to join the patrol.

The tabby she-cat snorted, and then took the first bite of her rabbit. She curled her tail around what she could of her body, though most of it was her large belly. Her golden eyes strayed to Heatherstar, and her eyes narrowed, but then shook her head. The lass let out a hiss of pain when one of her kits kicked, and then let out a soft growl.

Yellow-green eyes peered over a boulder then smiled, just behind the boulder was a rabbit. The tom looked up at the sky, looking for the location of the sun, and grinned when he saw that it would work in his favor. He slowly crawled over the boulder, his shadow behind him. Keeping his body low he slowly tensed his muscles then he leapt down and quickly ended the rabbits life.

Sandypaw blinked sleep out of his eyes. 'Hello, Brownpaw.' he yawned, watching Liontail walk over to Willowfang.

Liontail padded up to Willowfang. 'Would you join my patrol, Willowfang?'

Sandypaw shrugged. 'I've got to go patrol with Liontail. You'd have to ask him if he's taking a border patrol or hunting patrol.'

'Good, good. Come on then.' Liontail replied briskly, padding back over to Sandypaw and Brownpaw.

Sweetfall yawned, watching her two kits play.

Skyripple sat outside her den quietly.

he backed away hissing at the other kits "back off!"

"oh okay.." he padded to Lion tail "is this a broader or hunting patrol?" he meowed curiously

The two older kits turned to Lightkit, eyes blazing angrily. 'We were nowhere near you!' spat Tallkit, angrily. Sootkit glared, and then the two flicked their tails, made themselves look bigger and strode off, to play again. They quickly forgot about Lightkit, and devolved into a game of rogue and clan.

Sweetfall looked alarmed when the kits started hissing at eachother. Before she intervened, however, they broke apart, and Sweetfall's kits thankfully began playing joyfully again.

Skyripple lifted her eyes to the sky, watching the clouds. Her dreams had been blank again. She knew she should be glad but...

Liontail blinked down at Brownpaw. 'It's a hunting patrol. Would you like to join?'
