Rabbitpaw turned onto his side and peaked open his eyes with a yawn. He yelped when he flet paws jab into his side. "Cloudpaw watch it!" he mewed and flicked his tail as he sat up. The three legged tom glared at one of his best friends and looked over to see Rowanpaw sound asleep.

Sunflower slipped out of the warriors den and shook her fluffy cream fur, padding drowsily to the fresh-kill pile.

The soft calico she-cat moved very slowly as not wake her sleeping kit. When he did not wake, she continued and walked quietly out of the den.

The fluffy black and white tom-kit wriggled around at having his mother move, but didn't wake.

whiteheart smiled as sandtail accepted his request. "thank you." he said and padded off to look around camp for cats to send out on border patrols. he spotted thistleheart and smiled, walking towards her. "morning, thistleheart." he said with a smile. "would you mind leading a border patrol? you can take anyone you'd like with you." he requested kindly and waited for the she-cats response.

poppypaw watched the two toms as they talked then looked to sandtail. "sure," she said with a smile and looked around camp, setting her gaze on rainpaw. she had quite a lot of sympathy for the she-cat, losing her mother so young. she had no idea how alderstar or her other siblings could hold up so well. she pulled a smile onto her face as she approached rainpaw. "hey, rainpaw, care to join us on a patrol?" she asked kindly.

he yawned as he left the den, a bit of moss stuck on the bottom of his tail. he sat down and looked around the camp groggily, glancing towards the leader and deputy but quickly looking away. in all honesty foxleap was never quite fond of the deputy, nor did he have a desire to be the deputy. he liked where he was as a warrior, he was fine with his duties and fine with being a mentor but wanted nothing more than that, or he felt like it may be too much work. he curled his tail over his white paws and licked the little piece of moss off of his tail with a tired glare.

eden sighed as she jumped down from a fence post after snooping in a two-legs territory. frankly, the she-cat was bored. she felt like she had nothing to do, and desperately wanted someone to talk to. she of course knew there was a clan nearby but didn't feel like being chased around or hurt by any clan cats today. the fluffy she-cat swayed her tail impatiently as she padded around the territory looking for something to entertain herself with, treading a ways away from her own den that she had made. she had called it home for the past few moons and found it quite comfortable, even though it was a old log.

Rainpaw looked up at the sound of her name to see Poppypaw. Oh, sure Poppypaw, that'd be great" the she-cat responded kindly. Personally, Rainpaw loved patrols especially when they gave her a chance to better herself and become closer to earning a warrior title.

the large molly dipper her head in respect for creamflower's comment on her kits. the greencough that broke out just a few moons ago was terrible, and alderstar had hoped it didn't come back- they were only just starting leaf-bare. the leader couldn't imagine what it would be like to lose her kits, especially so young. she was glad chivekit had survived, for creamflower's kits had looked sturdy and strong before they were infected with greencough. "that's good, let's hope he stays that way. we need more warriors soon, i'm expecting a few ceremonies- and those cat's will need apprentices of their own. and how about you, creamflower? 'ave you been doing well?" alderstar asked, slowly dropping her muscular body to the ground and curling her legs under her poofy chest.

Jaysong woke with a startle. A sharp bramble thorn was poking her soft underbelly, causing a sharp pain. "Ouch!" she muttered, throwing the thorn out of her nest. The three - legged warrior gave herself a quick groom and stretched. The dawn sunlight felt good on her pelt, warming the ginger furs. Jaysong limped out of the den. The stump of where her fourth leg should be still gave her a bit of trouble in the mornings, until the day progressed. Then she got used to being on three legs. On the way out of the den she noticed her crush, Foxleap. The molly tried her best to avoid him at all costs, and today was no exception. Blushing, she awkwardly sprinted out of the den, splashing droplets of crystal clear water and straight next door to the apprentice one. The warrior crawled into the rocky cave and called out, "Rabbitpaw! Time for training!"

Runningstrike awoke with a yawn, stretching out. He blinked a moment before padding out of the warrior's den. His tail twitched as he looked around at the others who were awake before he moved toward the fresh-kill pile.

"Oh don't be so rude Moonrose. You know you love when I groom your pelt." Pulling his head away from his own pelt, the tom chuckled. He watched as the shecat came closer to him. "See!" With a smile, Shellsplash began to groom Moonrose fur down straight. He began to purr after a while. Shellsplash felt at him with Moonrose; he was almost as close to her as he was with his own brother. "How are the patrols going?"

Sandtail noticed Fleetstep was very uncomfortable with the idea."You sure? I can find someone else if you'd like." Looking around the clearing, Sandtail noticed plenty of other warriors capable of going on a patrol. "But this will be a good way for you to open up too. It's just gonna be us four." Turning around, he began to pace towards the entrance. "I told Poppypaw and Rainpaw to meet us at the entrance, surely they are ready by now." When he arrived at the entrance he sat down and began to wait for the two apprentices.

Rabbitpaws ears perked up as he spotted the three-legged she-cat he loved training with his mentor, mostly because she knows what hes going through and she helps hhimlearn to cope. "i got to go guys, Jaysong is calling me." he mewed quickly and stumbled to his paws, he still had alot of trouble with his missing leg. He smiled at Jaysong as he approached her "Good morning jaysong!" he purred, his tail swaying happily.

Creamflower smiles, thinking back to when her kits were strong when they were born. But then died once they caught greencough and she noticed how weaker they became, including Chivekit. When she lost her kits, she thought all hope had been lost forever, until she heard mewling from Chivekit and realized he was still alive. Now, she sees her son as a sign of hope in her life and will know he will help her not to give up. "Yes I am doing good Alderstar." she said. "And yourself?"
