Ashrunner looked at the two new apprentices. She felt the weight of her new responsibilities. It was her duty to heal the hurt, and to protect the Clan against disease.

Moorpaw ran back to the nursery, whispering a quiet. "Love you mom!" before running back to the apprentice den.
